Beomgye steak restaurant, medium-rare chuck flap: Two Find Peter

Picking a restaurant for plans in Beomgye is always oddly stressful. There are plenty of bars, but finding somewhere you can actually eat a proper meal and still enjoy the atmosphere narrows the options fast.

This time I went to Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch. With pasta, pizza, gnocchi, and steak all on the menu, it's great for a group where everyone wants something different — and just as good for a night when I'm in the mood for steak and a glass of wine, like this one.

I had steak and salad with a glass of red wine, and it felt like a genuinely relaxed dinner — the kind I haven't had in a while.

Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is on the 5th floor of Park Avenue-L, 15 Pyeongchon-daero 217beon-gil, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. It's about 300m from Exit 3 of Beomgye Station, an easy walk. It's also right by Beomgye Rodeo Street, so it's convenient if you want to head somewhere else afterward.

If you're driving, the building has parking available. Some reviews mention it's a mechanical parking system, so if you have a larger vehicle, it's worth calling ahead to check.

This is the Park Avenue-L building you'll spot coming from Beomgye Rodeo Street. Since it was my first visit, I checked the floor directory just to be sure — and there it was, Two Find Peter on the 5th floor. The sign says TO FIND PETER in big letters, so it's easy to find.

The building itself stands out and it's close to the station, so navigating there wasn't hard at all. Just take the elevator straight up to the 5th floor :)

Walking in, the space is bigger than I expected — that's what catches your eye first. The interior mixes wood tones with black, so it's not too casual but not overly formal either. One wall is made of glass blocks, which ends up being a nice accent point.

By the windows, light filters through the blinds and round lighting fixtures add warmth to the mood. The tables aren't crammed together either, so it felt comfortable for actually talking while eating.

There's a good variety of 2–4 person tables and some seating for larger groups, so it works well whether you're on a date or meeting up with friends.

I especially liked the window seats — natural light during the day, and a different mood entirely once the lighting kicks in at night. It suited a steak-and-red-wine evening like this one perfectly.

And for those of us who love meat, there's steak too, so the range of main dishes is broad. This doesn't feel like a place you go for just one dish — it's more fun to pick a pasta, a steak, a salad or pizza, and put it all on the table to share.

After some deliberation, I went with the steak, a salad, and a glass of red wine. Let's dig in!

Starting with the bread service

After ordering, the bread and pickles arrived first. Dipping the warm bread lightly in the oil that came with it was a perfect way to pass the time. The pickles were nice for cleansing the palate in between too.

Sitting by the window, I could see a flower arrangement across the table, which made the whole scene pretty. It made me want to snap a photo even before the food arrived. While enjoying the bread and waiting, my ordered dishes started coming out one by one.

Caesar salad, 9,000 won, alongside the steak

First out was the Caesar salad! I ordered it to go with the steak, and it came out more generous than expected. The crisp vegetables were evenly coated in Caesar dressing, with crunchy croutons mixed in for texture.

There was also cheese in bite-sized pieces, so it wasn't just a plain veggie salad. Eating it between bites of steak was a perfect combination — a refreshing palate cleanser between mouthfuls of meat. If you're ordering steak here, this salad is worth pairing with it.

The main event — the beef skirt steak — arrived too. It came pre-sliced for easy eating, and one look at the cross-section told me I'd ordered right. The outside was seared golden brown, and the inside kept its moist, pinkish-red color.

Medium-rare chuck flap steak, cooked just right

I ordered the beef skirt steak medium-rare, and the color of the cross-section proved it. Cutting in, the center held a vivid pink while the outside was seared firm — exactly how I like it. It was thick enough that each bite had real chew and texture.

Best of all, it wasn't overcooked or dry — the inside stayed moist and tender. I started with just a little salt to taste the meat plain, then switched things up with wasabi or wholegrain mustard.

Wholegrain mustard, wasabi, and salt all came on the side, along with garnishes of roasted potato, asparagus, and tomato, so I could mix and match to my taste. I went back and forth between salt and the wholegrain sauce, and switching it up like that kept it from getting boring till the last bite.

Ordering multiple pastas or pizzas to share is nice too, but this place also works well for a night like mine — steak, one salad, a glass of wine, and a slow, unhurried meal.

Taste, price and atmosphere at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch

✔️ Taste — The skirt steak, cooked medium-rare, was moist and cooked just how I like it. Pairing it with the Caesar salad kept things from feeling too heavy, and it worked well with the red wine too. Of everything I ordered, the steak was the most memorable.

✔️ Price — Pasta starts in the low ₩10,000s, the Caesar salad is ₩9,000, and the beef skirt steak is ₩34,000. For a restaurant with this kind of atmosphere, it's not an overwhelming price range.

✔️ Atmosphere — The space is spacious with generous table spacing, so it never felt crowded. With the wood-tone interior and soft lighting, it suits both dates and hangouts with friends.

✔️ Service — Ordering at the table was easy, and dishes came out in order starting with the bread, making for an unhurried meal.

✔️ Would I go back? — Yes! Next time, instead of steak, I'd like to try a few pastas or the gnocchi and share them.
