In short
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a Jeju-style hangover soup (haejangguk) restaurant on Hyowon-ro in Ingye-dong, Suwon. Dinner here was two bowls of Eunhuine haejangguk, a small dombe pork platter and one bottle of beer, alternating between soup made with bone broth simmered for 24 hours and pork sliced and served on the cutting board. I was hunting for a good restaurant in Ingye-dong and found somewhere I think I'll remember for a long time — Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch (제주은희네해장국 수원인계점). It's already word-of-mouth famous as a hangover soup spot near Suwon City Hall Station, and after visiting in person I could tell it works just as well for dinner as it does for lunch.

Where is Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk, and how are parking and seating near Suwon City Hall Station?
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is located at 3-8 Hyowon-ro268beon-gil, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, so it's easy to find near Suwon City Hall Station. There's free parking for 25 cars total — 10 spots in front of the building and 15 more underground — so I didn't have to worry about parking even though I drove. Inside, the seating ranges from solo seats to 4-person and 6-person tables, so it works whether you're eating alone or with a group. There's also a self-bar, and it's worth knowing that extra rice is free with each single-meal order.

Ordering two haejangguk, a small dombe pork and one beer
We ordered two Eunhuine haejangguk, one small dombe pork, and a bottle of beer. I wondered if that combination even made sense, but the moment the food arrived I knew right away it couldn't have been more perfect.

How does the 24-hour bone broth at Jeju Eunhuine taste?
The Eunhuine haejangguk (hangover soup) arrived still boiling in its stone pot. Built on a rich bone broth simmered for 24 hours, it was packed with Haenam ugeoji (dried napa cabbage leaves), fresh bean sprouts, and tender meat. The savory bone-broth smell rising the moment the lid came off got my appetite going right away. The first spoonful of broth filled my mouth with a deep, rich flavor you could tell came from 24 hours of care. It had that pale, thick bone-broth character but wasn't greasy at all — the clean finish stood out. The ugeoji had soaked up plenty of broth, so eating it alongside kept things soft and mild. The bean sprouts stayed crunchy and added a spicy kick to the soup. The meat was tender with no gamey smell, and every piece was delicious.

There was a reason for ordering both the haejangguk and the dombe pork. As we worked through the stone pot, our appetite kept building, and a savory bite of dombe pork filled the mouth perfectly alongside it — the pairing worked so well together. Among restaurants in Ingye-dong, it's rare to find a haejangguk place this devoted to its broth paired with a meat dish this free of gamey smell.

Jeju-style dombe pork served on the cutting board
The mood shifted when the dombe pork (돔베고기, Jeju-style sliced pork) arrived. Served true to Jeju style, sliced directly on a wooden cutting board, it had a distinctive look from the very first glance. Thick-cut pork slices laid neatly on the board carried the exact feel of Jeju's local food culture. Taking a piece and biting in, I first felt a soft, mild flavor, followed by the pork's savory richness. The fat had been trimmed just right, so it never felt greasy and ate cleanly. Dipped in salted shrimp, it picked up a salty depth of flavor that made it perfect to alternate with mouthfuls of the hot haejangguk broth. I'd strongly recommend this dombe pork not just for lunch near Suwon City Hall but as an evening drinking dish too.

Why Jeju Eunhuine works for a beer with dinner in Ingye-dong
The one bottle of beer completed the whole combination. A spoonful of hot haejangguk, a bite of dombe pork, a cold sip of beer — that rhythm made it hard to want to leave the table. If you feel like some soju alongside dombe pork or spicy seasoned lamb's-lettuce salad in the evening, this place fits perfectly.

If you're looking for a hangover soup restaurant near Suwon City Hall Station, or just want a satisfying meal in Ingye-dong, I can confidently recommend Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch. It's open Monday through Friday, with last order at 10pm.
