Seoul Station brunch shop, soup-dipped baguette & cold brew: Dance
In short
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a baguette sandwich brunch shop on the third basement floor (B3) of Grand Central at Seoul Station, in Jung-gu, Seoul. On a weekend morning, a solo diner walked in without a reservation and ordered the Dance Brunch Set: a baguette sandwich, mushroom cream soup and a canned cold brew. There was no time limit, and dipping the sandwich into the soup was the highlight. Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is worth recommending for a solo brunch or takeout near Seoul Station or Namdaemun Market.

Weekends make me crave brunch for some reason 🥹 But I don't want somewhere packed, and some days I just want to sit quietly alone with a cup of coffee. Last weekend I had an errand near Seoul Station, and afterwards I stopped by Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station (댄스댄스댄스 서울역점).
It's close to Seoul Station and also to Namdaemun Market, so it's easy to get to and a really good spot for brunch.
Where is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station, and what are its hours?
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is in Grand Central, B3, 14 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul, and it's open daily from 07:00 to 19:00. Maybe because of the location, it opens early. If you work nearby, it would be great for grabbing coffee or a sandwich in the morning.

The shop is on the third basement floor of Grand Central at Seoul Station. It wasn't hard to walk there from the station, and since Namdaemun Market is close too, I thought it would be nice to stop by before or after shopping or meeting someone.
Is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station good for a solo weekend brunch?
I visited on a weekend morning without a reservation, and the mood was more relaxed than I expected. I saw quite a few other people on their own, so eating alone felt no problem.
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station menu and prices

There's a really wide variety of baguettes. I was especially curious about the tofu cream cheese one! But I was here looking for a classic Seoul Station brunch, so I skipped it, and next time I'm going to try the tofu cream cheese kind.
There's also a chicken breast sandwich, which sounded good for people watching their diet, and they sell coffee beans in small amounts too.

Free scone before 10 AM and the Dance Run event
If you order a sandwich and coffee before 10 AM, you get a free scone, and there's also a Dance Run event based on a running record of 2 km or more. The regular prices are already reasonable, and with these events I think you can enjoy a Seoul Station brunch even more reasonably.
What comes in the Dance Brunch Set?

I ordered the Dance Brunch Set. What I liked was that there's no time limit. Some places do have one, so I appreciated that this one doesn't.
It feels like a perfect route: arrive at Seoul Station, fill up here, then head straight to Namdaemun Market. Takeout is available too.

The Dance Brunch Set comes with a sandwich, mushroom cream soup and coffee, so it was plenty for one brunch meal. I chose the baguette sandwich and a canned cold brew for the drink (the canned cold brew costs extra). With brunch, ordering things separately makes the price climb fast, so I liked that the set meant no agonizing over it.

Is the baguette sandwich too hard to bite?
This is the baguette sandwich I picked. At first I worried it would be hard because it's a baguette, but it wasn't annoyingly chewy and was easy to eat bite by bite. It looked appetizingly brunch-worthy, the vegetables were fresh, and the filling was surprisingly generous.

Dipping the baguette sandwich in mushroom cream soup
The baguette sandwich alone might be a little dry, but with a spoonful of warm mushroom cream soup it became much softer. True to the name brunch set, the combination just works!
The portion was just right too, enough to eat slowly on my own, and with coffee included it was a quite satisfying weekend-morning meal and a great Seoul Station brunch option. At the end I dunked the sandwich itself right into the soup, and it was warm, soft, filling, and the best.

Upgrading the brunch set drink to canned cold brew
I upgraded from the default drink to the canned cold brew. Isn't it so hip and cute? It went well with the meal, of course, and it's clean-tasting in a way that won't divide opinions, so I wanted to buy a bunch and stock my fridge.
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station: recommended for solo brunch and takeout

I visited Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station as a Seoul Station brunch spot, and personally it was good for eating alone and good for takeout too, so I recommend it if you're ever nearby 💙
