Paju café with its own parking lot and baby chairs: Fruit Forest

I was craving something cool near Simhaksan in Paju, so I stopped by Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store. On days as hot as these, bingsu (shaved ice dessert) is always the first thing that comes to mind. As the name suggests, Fruit Forest specializes in drinks and bingsu made with fresh fruit, and this time I tried the one that caught my eye most — the fresh mango snow bingsu.

Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store sits at 144 Dolgotgil in Paju, near the Simhaksan food alley. What I liked most was that it has its own dedicated parking lot.

In Paju, a lot of people drive to cafés, so having parking right there made it a really convenient visit.

The building itself stands out quite a bit too.

With the big FRUITS FOREST sign and a line on the window reading 'the sanctuary of mango bingsu,' I was already looking forward to the mango bingsu before I even walked in.

Inside Fruit Forest: window seats and baby chairs

Walking into Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store, one side was packed with mangoes and other fruit on display. The interior was clean with white tables and black chairs, and there were baby chairs, floor-to-ceiling window seats, and even a sofa area.

It wasn't just pictures of bingsu on the walls — you could actually see real fruit on display,

which definitely felt like a proper fruit-focused café.

The overall vibe inside was clean and pleasant. White tables were paired with black chairs,

and green plants scattered around gave it a calm yet fresh feel.

There were baby chairs set aside too, which looked convenient for families visiting with kids.

There were plenty of floor-to-ceiling window areas, so it never felt cramped. Sitting by the window was a nice way to enjoy dessert at a leisurely pace while looking out at the view.

There was also a sofa seating area, which looked great for a group visiting together.

Fruit Forest bingsu menu and prices

Fruit Forest had a wide range of menu items beyond bingsu, including coffee, milk drinks, and fresh fruit juices.

Looking at the bingsu menu, there was:

• Peach snow bingsu ₩28,000
• Melon snow bingsu ₩28,000
• 10-fruit assorted bingsu ₩42,000

and more. The fresh mango snow bingsu and the peach and melon snow bingsu were listed as good sizes for 2–3 people, while the 10-fruit assorted bingsu is meant for 4–5.

There were also plenty of fresh fruit juices — fresh mango juice, tomato juice, kiwi juice, pineapple juice, apple-kale juice — so even without ordering bingsu, it looked like a good spot for fruit drinks. Menus and prices can change depending on the season or store situation, so I'd recommend double-checking when you visit.

Fresh mango snow bingsu, 32,000 won, shared by two

What I ordered was the fresh mango snow bingsu at Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store, ₩32,000. It looked loaded with mango even in photos, but seeing it in person, the visual was even more impressive.

The snow bingsu was completely surrounded by yellow fresh mango with no gaps, and there was ice cream on top in the center.

The mango's distinctive sweetness paired with the soft snow ice made it a great summer dessert.

There was a generous amount of fresh mango on top, so anyone who loves mango would find this satisfying.

Small toppings were added on top too, making it look quite substantial.

A mango sauce came alongside, which you can add to taste. Rather than pouring it all on at once, adding it little by little as you eat let us enjoy the strong mango flavor for longer. Since it's a menu meant for 2–3 people, the portion was generous, and it was a nice, relaxed dessert to share between two.

Is Fruit Forest in Paju worth a visit?

If you're looking for a cool dessert near Simhaksan in Paju, Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store is worth a visit. Since bingsu piled high with fresh fruit is the main draw here, it has a different charm from a typical red bean bingsu. What I liked most about the fresh mango snow bingsu I had was getting to enjoy plenty of both the snow ice and the mango together.

The space is spacious and clean, and with parking and baby chairs available, it's a good spot for both a date and a family outing. If you're looking for mango bingsu or a Simhaksan café dessert on a hot day in Paju, this one's worth checking out.
