Whenever I go, one thing I always agonize over is what to eat today?? Menya Seoul's ramen lets you choose chashu — dongpo pork or jambon — and broth — mild, spicy, or even mala. Ordering a set saves you ₩3,900, so I'd recommend the sets too ><

With mala being so trendy these days, it's nice that lovers of it can easily pick their own version here too — so many options that it works well whether you're solo or with a friend!!! I went with my husband! He ordered the dongpo pork mild broth set, and I ordered the dongpo pork spicy basic!!

Bar-table seating at Menya Seoul, easy for solo diners

Menya Seoul Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch has bar-table seating, and it was kept nice and clean~~! I liked that it's an easy spot to visit solo for lunch or dinner haha.

If you're a fan of Japanese ramen and craving the real deal, Menya Seoul feels like a place worth stopping by haha. Every menu item was clearly made with care~~! Besides ramen, they also have rice bowls and fried dishes, so you can order to your taste ^^

They also have mazesoba, chicken rice bowl, and karaage!! Menya Seoul really delivers that full Japanese-food feel haha.

A broth made from 25 different ingredients — I mean, who could resist that..💝🫢 And the dongpo pork made from whole pork belly had me even more excited haha. The wind's slowly getting cooler now, and once it cools down, ramen is basically a must right?>< We waited with fluttering hearts after ordering haha.

There were sauces set up neatly at every table too, handy to use as needed!!

How the spicy dongpo pork ramen and mild broth set tasted

My spicy broth ramen came out!! The broth was clean yet deep, really delicious haha. And the dongpo pork had no off smell or toughness — super chewy and tasty, plus a generous portion!!

My husband's pick, the set menu, arrived too!!! The broth definitely had a deeper flavor, and we both happily enjoyed it together!!!

The broth, the soft-boiled egg, the noodles — everything was delicious from start to finish at Menya Seoul I'Park Mall Branch!! Both my husband and I were so satisfied that we left happily talking about coming back~~ You can also order sides to your taste, and since it's a place to get proper ramen with deep yet clean broth, I think I'd happily come back solo too^^
