After finishing my fall clothes shopping in Hannam-dong, I stopped by Dance Dance Dance. It's no exaggeration to call it Seoul's undisputed #1 sandwich spot, a true Yongsan favorite.

Maybe it's the nutty, crispy baguette, but somehow I never get tired of it even eating it every day — I've lost count of how many times I've come back. It's just a few small tables inside plus the terrace, but it's always packed. This is the place everyone knows for Hannam sandwiches, and a lot of people come alone to eat, too.

The new fig sandwich from Dance Dance Dance. If it were just fig, it might have tasted a bit flat, but the pistachio paste adds a slightly bitter sweetness that makes the whole thing oddly complex and addictive. As the sweet-tart fig spreads through your mouth, the pistachio adds a weightier depth on top. I was satisfied enough that it's a shame this is only a fall seasonal item.

If this is your first time at Dance Dance Dance, I'd most recommend the chicken breast sandwich, their popular signature item. For a solo meal near Hannam-dong, Hannam Intersection, or Yongsan Station, Dance Dance Dance is still the answer. All my post-shopping fatigue melted away. Now I'm curious about their new Seoul Station location too.
