Today I visited Baedagol Bakery House (배다골베이커리하우스), a big café in Wondang, Goyang, famous for its atmosphere and its tasty bread and drinks! It's one of my personal favorites, so I've been several times before, and plenty of friends saw my photos and came flocking over too.
Where is Baedagol Bakery House and where do you park?
Baedagol Bakery House is in Wondang-dong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang, and I think the closest subway station is Samneung Station. It's very close to the Changneung-cheon and Gongneung-cheon streams, so it's easy to reach by bike.
Group reservations are possible, and there's a room too, so it's also nice for quiet conversation. There are 3 parking lots in total, with free parking for 50+ cars.

Cycling route to Baedagol Bakery House
Today's route: Anhap (the Anyang-cheon confluence) → cross Worldcup Bridge → Changneung-cheon → Samsong Station → a short stretch on the road → Gongneung-cheon → Baedagol Bakery House.

We met at Anhap at 11 AM and set off. The distance was neither too long nor too short, it's mostly bike paths with no steep climbs, so it's a fun, easy ride, and lots of people joined in!

Riding along the Changneung-cheon, near the Samsong Station intersection.
Today's cycling outfit
- Sweet Protection Falconer 2 white helmet
- 100% S3 goggles in lavender
- Shokz bone-conduction earphones in blue
- Ostalletti long-sleeve jersey in sky blue
- Gripe cargo bib knickers in black
- Tanis team socks
- Specialized MTB carbon cleat shoes in blue
- Giant Liv Langma Advanced in blue
There's the entrance to the Gongneung-cheon path. Heading this way feels like riding a real countryside cross-country trail, like we're on a tour, which is fun. There was a rose farm next to it too.
This is the only trail-like climb on the way to Baedagol Bakery House. I grabbed the trophy here, ahahaha, sneaking in like a thief, haha!
Baedagol Bakery House entrance, discounts and bike parking
As you approach Baedagol Bakery House you'll see parking lots 2 and 3, and lot 1 is at the entrance. Next to the entrance, a sign explains in detail how to get a discount. It said 10% off if you follow on Instagram, and 20% off for military, police, firefighters and similar with proof.
Behind the building there's an open lot where you can park bikes. Leave your bike there and eat without worrying.
Weekend seating at Baedagol Bakery House: is there room for a group?
At midday on a holiday, the weather was cool, so the outdoor seats were full, and the first floor was crowded too, so I couldn't take photos. I went straight up to the second floor. The outside terrace looked very peaceful and nice, but since we were a group, we sat indoors. There were lots of big tables.
There was a room like this too, and the atmosphere is great, right? Haha, even a tiny sewing machine detail. If we're a small group next time, sitting somewhere like this would be nice.

Baedagol Bakery House Good Morning set: price and hours
Baedagol Bakery House has a new Good Morning set. Between 10 and 12, you get coffee plus one bread of any price for ₩9,900! That's really generous, so I should come for the morning set. Sadly, today I arrived at 12:20.
There's a Good Night set too, with the same setup. There was also an event giving a free bread for writing a Naver review.

Blankets are set out for anyone to take, which was nice. Baedagol Bakery House focuses on certain menu items by season, and it's autumn now, so I guess it's chestnut and sweet potato season. They say they use only Seoul Milk.

Here's the full drink menu.

Bread display and self-service corner at Baedagol Bakery House
By the bread display at Baedagol Bakery House there were cakes too. The bread cases have automatic doors that open when you put your hand in, which makes it easy to take bread and keeps bugs out, so I think it's a good system.

Two friends and I, three of us, picked breads to share. There was also a drink stamp coupon. Water, a mini oven, syrup, napkins, takeout bags and more were all set out for easy self-service.

Häagen-Dazs caramel latte: Baedagol Bakery House's signature drink?
Looking around at our group, a lot of people were eating hot dogs. We chose garlic bread, ang butter bread (red bean paste and butter bread) and 2 hot dogs.
Our drinks came out. I was told the Häagen-Dazs caramel latte is a signature menu item, so I ordered it. A huge scoop of Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream sits on top of the milk, and the shot comes separately.

I was taking a photo with one hand and pouring with the other, hahaha, and spilled a lot of the shot. Häagen-Dazs is famous for its good ingredients too. The smooth ice cream is high in milk fat, so it feels rich and nutty rather than greasy.
Swish, swish, I slice the bread to share. My friend filmed it nicely in a vlog style.

Hot dog, ang butter bread and garlic bread at Baedagol Bakery House
The hot dog! It has chopped pickles in it, and the combination of sweet mustard sauce, bread and a sausage with a snappy bite is incredible. We swept up all the hot dogs, haha. Got even the last one.

The ang butter bread had something like yuja (citron) jam spread on it, I think? A touch of sweetness is added, which gives the ang butter bread a nice accent.

And the garlic bread, haha! It's slathered with real garlic sauce, so it was moist and the rich garlic flavor was a work of art.

Return station, goods, restrooms and garden at Baedagol Bakery House
When you're done eating, just put your tray on the return station. Baedagol Bakery House sells goods too. They're pretty!
The restrooms were very clean and nice, and the interior's earthenware jar décor looks upscale. The yard garden had lots of parasol seats and was prettily decorated with all kinds of trees and flowers. It was a holiday today, so it seemed packed with people, but next time I'll come on a weekday morning for the morning set and sit in the garden.
