A Samseong Station burger spot to escape the COEX crowds
After going to COEX, I was totally drained by the crowds, so I stepped out for a burger at Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch (바스버거 삼성역점), one of my favorite places around Samseong Station.

The address is 1F, 16 Teheran-ro 114-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and it is open daily from 11:00 to 21:00. With unlimited James Potato Chips, you can eat as many chips as you like, and the sweet, soft, fluffy brioche buns are delicious too. There are burger sets that are great for eating alone, platters perfect for a cozy beer date for two, and a spacious dining room, so it is also nice for groups.

Bas Burger is well known for burgers around Samseong Station. It is close to COEX, so after stopping by Samseong Station, I fled to Bas Burger for a quieter meal because COEX was just too crowded.
Menu pairings, from burgers to beer platters

The menu has solo-friendly options such as individual burgers, sets, and combos, plus chicken platters to enjoy with beer—wings, chicken, and mozzarella bites—as well as fries and sides, and beer. For a burger specialist in Gangnam, the prices feel reasonable, and considering the food quality, I thought it was good value.

Just by posting a photo review, you can choose a chili mozzarella cheese bar or Bas Lager. And Bas Burger's biggest perk!! There are so many extras, from chips to sauces and drink refills, making it very reasonably priced.
From solo bar seats to a terrace

There are roomy seats for groups, while the wall-side seats are bar seating that works well for eating alone.

On a nice day, there is even the terrace.

The comfort of each area and the calm mood make this a Samseong Station favorite where even having a beer feels relaxing.

I grabbed unlimited chips from the service bar. The chips here are tasty because they are warm. Just note that weekend lunch hours can get a little busy, so I recommend visiting outside regular mealtimes.
Chicken burger set and Buffalo wing platter

I ordered a chicken burger with fries, switching the side to coleslaw, plus a Buffalo wing platter.

The chicken burger patty was really thick and crisply fried, so the texture was great. The meat inside was moist rather than tough or dry, and the fresh lettuce had a nice crunch, making everything feel well balanced.

The bun was soft and nicely moist too, so it went well with the ingredients.

The fries were not too thin and had just the right crispness, making them an ideal side. They came with two sauces as well, so it was nice to dip according to your taste.

The chicken wings were crispy outside and tender inside, which made them satisfying as a simple beer snack.

I also liked that the portions are easy to handle when you come alone but equally good for sharing when two or more people come. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service kind, making it a nice spot to take a little break at lunch.

For a chicken burger place in Gangnam, the price range felt appropriate, and considering the food quality, I thought the value was good too. Overall, I was happy with the food, service, and atmosphere, and it felt worth returning to. If you want a simple, tasty burger around Samseong Station or COEX, I recommend Bas Burger.
