Is it good for a family meal with different menu choices?

I went to Sinseon Myeonga (신선면가) near home for dinner around the time my child finished academy. Although “noodles” is in its name, it also had bibimbap, bossam (boiled pork wraps), sundae (Korean blood sausage), and pork cutlet that my child could eat. With plenty of choices even when family members want different things, it felt easy to visit with a child.

Where is it, and how does parking work?

The address is Unit 103, 1F, 26 Jungang-daero 1150beon-gil, Yeonje-gu, Busan. The original post listed hours as 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM daily. The break is 3–4 PM, with last orders at 9:30 PM.

There is a parking lot behind the building. When entering it, I called the restaurant and they raised the barrier so I could park. We parked easily and headed inside.

What are the atmosphere and ordering process like?

As I entered, the clean, bright interior immediately came into view. There were tables throughout, and the kitchen was open.

Bags of Suhyangmi and Icheon rice were displayed on the wall, which made me curious about the rice. We ordered from the tablet at our table. I chose octopus bibimbap, my daughter chose handmade king pork cutlet, and my husband chose kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) and a small serving of bossam.

How were the pre-meal sundae and self-service bar?

Before our food arrived, we were given a small serving of sundae. It tasted good from the first bite and stayed with me even before the meal. The owner and staff were kind when we chose our dishes and when they brought side dishes, so we ate comfortably.

There was a water dispenser and self-service bar near the kitchen. They brought the basic side dishes, and we could serve ourselves more if needed. Kimchi and danmuji (pickled yellow radish) were also generously stocked, and there were high chairs.

How were the kalguksu, bossam, and child-friendly menu?

Once all our dishes arrived, the table looked plentiful. Since we had each chosen something different, we could try several dishes together.

The small serving of bossam was an appropriate amount to have alongside the meal. I wrapped some as soon as it arrived, and it was tasty enough that I kept reaching for it.

My daughter chose the handmade king pork cutlet. She said it was good and ate well.

The octopus bibimbap came with plenty of vegetables. I was told to mix in a little octopus first, taste it, and add more as needed.

The kalguksu, made with house-made noodles, was also good. My husband tends to get hungry again quickly if he eats only kalguksu, but said having the small bossam alongside it made the meal filling.

The rice tasted good, too. It reminded me of the rice bags I had seen on the wall, though I did not separately confirm which rice was used.

What menu items stood out most from the family meal?

After the meal, the owner gave us sikhye (sweet rice drink) as a complimentary finish. Everyone ate their chosen dishes well, but the bossam and sundae unexpectedly stayed on my mind more. With many menu options, high chairs, and parking, it was convenient for dinner with a child.
