Today I want to introduce Chilango Seolleung Main Branch, where I had a really delicious meal near Seolleung.
This is a free parking restaurant in Yeoksam-dong that I found, and I loved that the food was great and the parking was so convenient too. I usually like tacos, and this place felt distinctly different from the franchises! The food quality was great and the plating was upscale, so it really stuck with me.

Where is Chilango Seolleung Main Branch, and what is the space like?
Chilango is located at 19 Yeoksam-ro 67-gil, 1st floor, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It's an easy walk from Seolleung Station.

Walking in, you get that exotic feel unique to Mexican restaurants.

The lighting was soft and the vibe was nice, so it seemed like a good date spot too. It wasn't too loud or intimidating, so it felt like a good option even for a first date.

There were quite a few reservation guests on the day I visited, and you could immediately tell this place is popular.

The bathroom interior is unique and pretty too, haha.

A sign explaining how to eat the tacos

What comes on the 54,000 won taco plate for two?
What I ordered that day was the taco plate for two. At the time of my visit, it cost ₩54,000. As soon as the food came out, I was already won over by the plating, haha. The colors were pretty and having several dishes served at once made the table feel completely full.
You get to enjoy a variety of ingredients together — meat, seafood, vegetables — and build your own tacos to taste, which made eating it fun too. I really felt like this is what proper Seolleung tacos should taste like.

How Chilango's tacos differ from franchise tacos
I like tacos in general and often go to franchise places, but Chilango was clearly different. It didn't feel like it was relying on bold, punchy flavors alone — each ingredient's own taste really came through. Eating fresh vegetables and meat together made for a satisfying meal on its own. Above all, every dish felt carefully prepared. So if you're searching for Seolleung tacos and looking for somewhere to go, I think you'd like this style too.
Is Chilango Seolleung Main Branch pet-friendly?
I also loved that Chilango is a pet-friendly restaurant. When you're looking for places to eat out with your dog, the options are more limited than you'd think. But here, pets are welcome and there's terrace seating too, so it's good for visiting together. If you've been looking for a pet-friendly restaurant to bring your dog to, this is worth checking out. I want to come back with my dog next time.

How many free parking spots does Chilango in Yeoksam-dong have?
Parking really matters when you're driving, and Chilango being a free parking restaurant in Yeoksam-dong made it convenient to visit by car. You can use the on-site parking lot for free, with about 3 spots available. That said, the space isn't very generous, so I'd recommend calling ahead to check before you go. If you're looking for a place to eat in Seolleung and also want free parking in Yeoksam-dong, this is worth checking.

Would I go back to Chilango Seolleung? Final verdict
Chilango was a place I really wanted to visit again. I was satisfied enough that I want to go back specifically for Seolleung tacos. The taste, ingredients, and plating all came together really well. On top of that, the atmosphere was good, so it suits dates or meals with friends, and I loved that it's a pet-friendly restaurant you can visit with your dog. Free parking also made it low-hassle to visit by car.
Personally, this felt less like a one-time visit and more like a place I'll become a regular at. Next time, I want to try other menu items besides the taco plate :)
