Why did we head to Chat Baker when Anseong Farmland wore us out?

We left the crowded holiday crowds at Anseong Farmland early and went to the big café right next door, Chat Baker. It had been a while since we had a long holiday, so we took the baby and the family to Anseong Farmland, but the crowds were exhausting, and honestly I didn't like the café inside the farm either. So we made a quick exit and decided to try a large café nearby! Here's my honest review of Chat Baker, the café near Anseong Farmland. I was worn out from the farm, but I came away properly recharged 〰️

Anseong Farmland is a good place to visit with a baby! There is a café inside, but it isn't a cozy-vibe café. The prices were disappointing and it was just so-so overall, so we decided to go to a café nearby. Chat Baker, where we went this time, is 1 km from Anseong Farmland, so it's right next door.

What are Chat Baker's location and parking like?

Chat Baker is a brunch café right in front of Anseong Farmland, and you can park easily in the outdoor lot in front of the shop. It really is right next to Anseong Farmland! Starfield Anseong is also close, about 10 minutes away, and I was truly happy with the location overall! Parking is easy too, so it's a great place to visit.

What are Chat Baker's opening hours?

At Chat Baker, bakery items and drinks are available daily from 09:00 to 23:00, and brunch and pasta can be ordered until 20:00. It's open all year round, so you can drop by whenever, just note that the brunch and pasta cutoff is 8 pm. We only had coffee and bakery items.

What are the atmosphere and seating like at Chat Baker?

Even with lots of customers, Chat Baker is a comfortable large café, spacious with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. It was such a big, cozy-vibe café. Honestly, Anseong Farmland gets crowded on weekends and drains your energy, but Chat Baker felt so pleasant that I felt properly recharged, which I loved.

Overall, the atmosphere at Chat Baker, the café near Anseong Farmland, was really clean and tidy. As a bakery café it has a wide variety of baked goods, and it's a pretty café with generous space between tables 🖤 It's said to be 500 pyeong (about 1,650 m²), which is amazing, right? 👀 It's a place you have to stop by when you come to Anseong Farmland.

Good seats for a baby, and pets

Chat Baker had a variety of tables, and since we came with the baby, we took comfortable sofa seats! I couldn't get a photo, but there are also terrace seats, so I think the terrace would be lovely in nice spring or autumn weather. By the way, pets are allowed only on the outdoor terrace.

Maybe because it's a café near Anseong Farmland, there were lots of people there with babies like us. We too relaxed comfortably with the baby over tasty coffee and tasty bakery items~

What drinks did we have at Chat Baker?

Does Chat Baker bake its own bread?

Chat Baker is a bakery café that makes fresh bread every day, from kneading the dough at dawn to baking! It's on another level compared to places that just bring in bread to sell. Because they really bake on site, the bakery items are so delicious, which makes this a great place. They say they never use margarine and use only 100% milk butter (so touching).

Fresh corn bread we took home

We took Chat Baker's fresh corn bread (a sandwich loaf) home to eat, and it was truly a legendary, amazingly tasty loaf. Since the place makes great bread, I figured the loaf would be super delicious too, so I picked it up. Please try it! Chat Baker is a top spot for loaf bread, and I recommend taking one home.

I was definitely only going to get about two breads, but then I also added a choco baguette, and that was the trap! But I'm glad I picked a lot, because everything in Chat Baker's bakery selection is really delicious.

Both the drinks and the bakery items were so good. The cozy atmosphere, stylish interior and spacious, comfortable space were all lovely, and with delicious coffee, drinks and bakery items too, isn't this a total hit of a café? 🥹 It's my favorite of the large cafés I've visited lately.

How are the coffee and decaf at Chat Baker?

At Chat Baker we ordered both a regular americano and a decaf americano, and both were delicious. The coffee at Chat Baker, the café near Anseong Farmland, is heavenly! The coffee prices are reasonable for a large café, and the quality was so good that I really enjoyed it.

How were the croissant, ang-butter salt bread and choco baguette?

Every single bakery item at Chat Baker was delicious 🥰 From the croissant with its fragrant butter aroma to the ang-butter salt bread (salt roll with red bean paste and butter) and the choco baguette 🖤 There was nothing to be disappointed about at Chat Baker, and next time we come to Anseong Farmland we'll definitely be back.
