Unsweetened black soybean milk powder for breakfast: Garu Seonsaeng

Garu Seonsaeng (Garu Seonsaeng) Ready-to-Mix Raw Soymilk Seoritae 99.3 is an unsweetened soymilk powder made from just two ingredients: Korean-grown black soybeans (seoritae) and sea salt. Instead of using a soymilk maker or buying boxed soymilk, the writer stirred Garu Seonsaeng black soybean powder into water every morning for almost 2 weeks and found that it dissolved easily in cold water with just a spoon and tasted nutty and toasty. Verdict: Garu Seonsaeng Seoritae 99.3 suits anyone who finds soymilk makers a hassle and worries about boxed-soymilk waste.

Guri lash salon: sting-free lash perm for sensitive eyes, Mippeudang

Mippeudang Lash Guri is a lash extension, lash perm and waxing salon on the 3rd floor of the Dongwon Park Building near Guri Station in Guri, Gyeonggi. After a consultation about lashes that droop straight down, the writer got a black ampoule lash perm at Mippeudang Lash Guri and felt almost no stinging or burning despite sensitive eyes, ending up with a natural, understated curl. If an eyelash curler and mascara never hold your curl for long, the black ampoule perm at Mippeudang Lash Guri is worth considering.
