What is Eulji Darak Gangnam Station like?
Eulji Darak Gangnam Station is a Western restaurant famous for its pasta near Gangnam Station. Eulji Darak (을지다락) has its main shop in Euljiro and a Gangnam branch too, and since my schedule was around Gangnam, I went to the Gangnam one haha. I had dinner in Seoul and found a Western restaurant that was sooo good.
Where is the entrance to Eulji Darak Gangnam Station?
It's on the 2nd floor of the building, and when you go up you'll see two doors. The one that looks like an elevator is the Eulji Darak entrance!!! We both wandered around at first, it's so cool. When you press that elevator button, a steel door opens!!!!! Seriously amazing haha. I was already surprised before I even went in.
Is Eulji Darak Gangnam Station a good blind-date spot? What's the atmosphere?
Even on a weekday evening, almost every table was full. I guess word has spread that it's a great pasta place near Gangnam Station. The interior is so pretty too. There's a gorgeous chandelier in the middle, which put me in a good mood haha. And a staff member guided us from start to finish, so I think it would be really good for a blind date too.
I already knew Eulji Darak is famous for its omurice (omelet rice), and almost every table was eating it. I really wanted the omurice if we ordered three dishes, buuut neither of us was that hungry and we would have left too much, so we each picked one dish we wanted.
Ringing a bell to order at Eulji Darak
To order, you ring the bell on the table. So cool haha, the jingling sound was so pretty. I could hear bells from other tables ordering too, and personally I like it better than a ding-dong buzzer. It sounded like a song.

Should you add bread to the Darak rose pasta?
I really recommend adding bread to the Darak rose pasta!!! The price is fair and above all, it looks so pretty. The cream comes on top separately, and when you mix it in, it turns into a rose sauce haha. The menu says "pasta flavored with spicy homemade Darak meat sauce, sweet fresh cream and Grana Padano cheese," and the cheese aroma was really strong too.
Just mix it well with the cream like this! It transforms into a thick, rich rose sauce.
Putting the rose sauce on the extra bread is seriously amazing!!! Add the bread, no question haha. The tables next to us had all added it too.
How does the Eulji Darak chop pork neck steak taste?
The chop pork neck steak (₩24,000) comes with grilled pork neck, grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes and steak sauce. The steak is so tender,,, and the price is really fair too. The cooked vegetables and tomato are a bonus. So good,,,
A mashed potato sauce like this comes alongside, and dipping into it makes it even more delicious.
Personally, I thought the tomato was really good,,, The eggplant, zucchini and broccoli are all cooked and drizzled with sauce, and overall the seasoning and doneness were all great!!!
Would you go back to Eulji Darak Gangnam Station?
Next time I'm in Euljiro or Gangnam, I'll definitely go to Eulji Darak again! Next time I really want to try the omurice too.
