Unlimited dakgalbi and pork belly near Guro Digital Complex Station

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi (박정미 닭갈비) is about three minutes from Exit 2 of Guro Digital Complex Station, on Kkakkal Street. Such a perfect spot for an after-work meet-up for Gudi office workers, right? I heard the restaurant changed its name from Sagyejinmi Charcoal Dakgalbi Guro Digital Complex branch to Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi!

It is on the third floor, so take the elevator up~

  • Hours: 11:30–25:00, until 24:00 on Sundays
  • Parking: Free parking is available only before 5 PM
  • Paid parking: Guro Digital Complex Station street public parking lot and Guro E-Mart

Inside, the tables were spaced generously apart. With unlimited refills, you make several trips back and forth, so a cramped space would be inconvenient—but this felt comfortable. There are regular four-person tables, of course, as well as tables for company dinners, group meals, and gatherings. Groups of up to 150 people can use the space.

The 2-hour pass and alcohol pass

The pass menu and set menu are the choices available here. If you want a more moderate amount, you can go with a set. The prices are reasonable, too. Leave a receipt review to get makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles), and takeout is available at 40% of the price—that is a nice perk! I wanted unlimited refills, so I chose the 2-hour pass: ₩41,000 for two people.

There is an alcohol pass, too. I think this is why the place is especially known as a great company-dinner spot. Add ₩9,900 and you can pour your own draft beer like this.

A freshly maintained self-service bar

The self-service bar had lettuce, perilla leaves, kimchi, garlic, rice cakes, pickled onions, bean sprouts, ssamjang (savory dipping paste), and more, all neatly prepared and fresh. The staff tidied and maintained it throughout, so everything stayed clean.

There were instructions for the order in which to grill the dakgalbi and how to make self-service fried rice, so even though it is self-service, nothing felt difficult.

The quality of the unseasoned dakgalbi, chicken neck, and pork belly looked great at a glance.

And you can even make instant tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes)! There is a burner, so you can eat it alongside the meat. The people at the next table made some and said it was delicious!

A first spread filled with chicken and pork belly

Everyone grabbed the chicken as soon as it came out~ There were two kinds, soy sauce chicken and fried chicken. It was so popular that it kept disappearing, so I did not get to try it. Near the time I left, some was finally available, and it certainly looked like it deserved its popularity.

I brought over my first spread myself. It is unlimited refills, but the kind owner brought us aprons, haha. The dakgaejang chicken soup was gently seasoned and easy to enjoy, too. (Even with unlimited refills, take only as much as you can eat!)

There were instructions for grilling bean sprouts, so I tried it—and yes, it was such a good combination. I went back for the bean sprouts several times too, haha.

Pork belly with tender chicken neck

The pork belly was so delicious. Apparently, there was no pork belly back when it was Sagyejinmi, but it is a new menu item at Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi, so do try it.

The chicken neck was tender too, so I brought it back several times. It was great with grilled bean sprouts and the spicy sauce from the sauce bar.

The self-service bar has onion sauce, sesame oil for making a sesame-oil dipping sauce, and spicy sauce.

Eating the marinated charcoal-grilled dakgalbi while waiting for the pork belly to cook made for just the right meal.

A satisfying meal for gatherings and family dinners

Since you can enjoy pork belly and charcoal-grilled dakgalbi together, it is great for gatherings and company dinners, and I think families would be pleased with it too. The hours run late, until midnight, and although it is unlimited refills, this is a restaurant that has not neglected meat quality or flavor. I recommend it when you want a hearty meat meal near Gudi.
