My dog Tissue and I had a dog-friendly restaurant on Garosu-gil bookmarked for ages, but as luck would have it, Tissue had a grooming appointment that day. So Tissue went off to the salon and it ended up being just me and Tissue's dad checking the place out.

Looking at the menu, Casamil had a wider variety than I expected, and there are course menus available too, letting you try several dishes together.
From pasta and risotto to steak, pizza, and even desserts, there was plenty to choose from — it looked great for a date and a full course, but also worked fine for us picking a few à la carte dishes.
Booking for two at 2pm on a Tuesday: table setting and pickles
We booked for two through Naver reservations and visited Casamil Sinsa Garosu-gil at 14:00 on a Tuesday. Our table was already set when we arrived.
Every table had salt and pepper set out by default, and after we ordered, they brought out a whole jar of pickles as a side.
You just scoop out as much as you want onto your plate. (FYI, these pickles are ridiculously good.)
The pre-meal bread at Casamil
Casamil's pre-meal bread came out warm, perfect for snacking while waiting for the food. The bread itself is plain, but it goes so well with the garlic flakes sprinkled on top that we finished it in no time before the mains arrived.
Gold apple sparkling drink
This one's purely my personal pick. I normally like Gold Medal apple juice, but figuring western food might feel a bit heavy, I ordered the sparkling version instead — it paired really well with the meal and cut through the richness a bit. Recommended.
Quattro mushroom cream pasta: how strong is the truffle?
Casamil Sinsa Garosu-gil's quattro mushroom cream pasta is a cream pasta with a faint, lingering truffle aroma. The mushroom flavor paired really well with the savory cream sauce.
It's thick and rich, so if you're a fan of truffle cream pasta, this one comes fully recommended!
Random TMI moment: every time I eat truffle, I think of a cute giant baby friend who once said the first truffle they tried tasted like a wrung-out dish rag. TT___TT hahahaha
How was the margherita pizza at Casamil?
Casamil's margherita pizza was light and enjoyable. The tomato sauce and cheese came together in a clean but savory way, and it paired nicely with the quattro mushroom cream pasta.
It's a fairly basic pizza, so if it feels a bit plain, I'd recommend adding hot sauce or a generous shake of parmesan.
What the dining room at Casamil Sinsa Garosu-gil feels like
Casamil Sinsa Garosu-gil felt clean and stylish overall, the kind of place that would work well for a date or an anniversary dinner.
The tables were spaced out generously so we could eat comfortably, and it was a solid find when looking for a restaurant with good atmosphere in Sinsa.
And being on the first floor of a hotel gives it a calmer feel than your typical restaurant, somehow.
Bringing a dog to Casamil: Glass Garden room only
Casamil Sinsa Garosu-gil does allow dogs, but only in the separate Glass Garden space, not at the regular tables. So I'd recommend booking ahead before visiting with your pup.
This was actually a place I'd scoped out to visit with Tissue, but since Tissue was off getting groomed that day, it ended up being just me and Tissue's dad, haha. With everything from course meals to à la carte options and a clean, stylish interior, Casamil was great for a date or a nice meal out.
