Looking for a nice-atmosphere restaurant near Sinsa Station on Garosu-gil, I ended up at Casamil for a date and here's my review 💗 From brunch to Italian dishes, and on weekdays there's even a great-value 39,000 won lunch course, so it works well for dates or gatherings! I especially loved eating with a green, leafy view, which made this place stick in my memory as a real Garosu-gil brunch gem 🌿

How to get to Casamil Sinsa Garosu-gil, and its opening hours
📍Address: 1st floor of La Casa Hotel, 83 Dosan-daero 1-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It's about 600m from Sinsa Station Exit 6, a nice distance to stroll while browsing Garosu-gil shops.
⏰Hours: Daily 11:30–22:00 (Sundays until 21:00)
A forest view in the middle of Gangnam: the mood at Casamil
What I liked most about Casamil is that even though it's right in the heart of the city, you get a genuinely relaxed feeling while eating. There's a seat by a huge window overlooking trees, and the vibe there is really lovely 🌳 Rather than the usual busy Garosu-gil feel, it's more like taking a breather, as if you're on a little trip.

Casamil's glass garden, free corkage and group room for 10 or more
Two things I really want to mention! First, on weekdays there's a 39,000 won lunch course, which is quite reasonable considering Garosu-gil prices. Second, the glass garden — a standalone dog-friendly space you can use for a special date, which seemed great for anyone wanting to dine with their dog 🐶
If you reserve for 10 or more people, you can also use a separate space, so it's handy for planning a work dinner or group meal. Multiple people can enjoy the course or various Italian dishes together, and corkage-free wine is another plus!
Is Casamil only brunch? Wood-fired pizza and pasta too

Casamil isn't just a brunch spot — it's a restaurant where you can enjoy everything from brunch to pizza, pasta, and other Italian dishes. That means it's great for a leisurely daytime brunch, and just as good in the evening for a date or wine gathering. Since the weekday lunch course is 39,000 won, if you have a lunch appointment nearby, it's worth slowly enjoying the full course.

What we ordered at Casamil: squid ink risotto and prosciutto pizza
I ordered the whole squid ink risotto and the rocket prosciutto pizza! What I particularly enjoyed that day was the pizza 🍕 There's a wood-fired oven right in the restaurant, so I could watch my pizza baking — the sight of it coming straight out of the huge oven already got me excited!

The crust edges were beautifully charred here and there, and the center was piled high with rocket, making it look really appetizing.

The salty prosciutto paired with fresh rocket wasn't greasy at all, and I kept reaching for more. I especially loved the slightly smoky char typical of wood-fired pizza and the chewy yet light texture of the dough.
The whole squid ink risotto was really delicious too — the whole squid on top was so tender and satisfying 💕

Dishes like these would go even better with a glass of wine 🍷 If you come with a group, ordering a variety of pizzas and pastas to share would be great too. So I felt this is a real Garosu-gil gem worth visiting not just for brunch, but for a proper meal.
Inside Casamil: tiled tables and the wood-fired oven
The interior definitely had a distinct Casamil vibe.

Each table has a different tile pattern, which photographs beautifully, and overall it felt like being in a small restaurant somewhere in Europe ✨

On one side there's a large wood-fired oven actually in use, and wine displayed on shelves nearby, which added to the atmosphere.
My favorite spot was by the big window! With trees filling the view outside, I almost forgot I was in the middle of Gangnam. Visiting on a sunny day would make for pretty brunch photos and a relaxed chat.
Another advantage is how versatile it is — from a quiet date to a meal with friends to a group gathering of 10 or more.
Dewey's verdict on Casamil Sinsa Garosu-gil
If you want good food and a good atmosphere on Garosu-gil, Casamil is worth a visit. The wood-fired pizza was satisfying, and I especially loved being able to eat while looking out at a green view 🌿

Above all, there were so many useful features depending on your purpose: the value 39,000 won weekday lunch course, the dog-friendly glass garden, the separate space available for groups of 10+, and corkage-free wine.

Whether you're looking for a date spot or planning a company dinner or group meal, Casamil is a well-rounded Sinsa Station restaurant and brunch gem worth visiting. If you're looking for a relaxed-atmosphere Italian restaurant on Garosu-gil, I'd love to come back again ෆ
