Today I'm bringing you a review of 🔥 'Jansang', a hot Korean-style bar in Deokcheon, Busan with amazing anju (drinking snacks) 😆!!
Where is Jansang, and when is it open?
Jansang is a Korean-style bar at 44-1 Deokcheon 2-gil, Buk-gu, Busan, South Korea, on the Deokcheon bar street. Hours are Mon–Sat 17:00–02:00, closed Sundays, and there's no parking.

This is Jansang, the place with the great vibe on the Deokcheon bar street! Once you go inside, it's decorated along a long alley with a yajang (outdoor night-market) vibe — such an atmospheric bar~!!

Jansang's outdoor alley seats have the best atmosphere
Jansang is split between an indoor hall and outdoor seating that runs along the alley. The inside was already full!😮 We thought the outdoor seats looked more atmospheric so we sat outside haha (right after we sat down, the outdoor seats filled up too..🔥)

Jansang's free side dishes and how to order by tablet
Once you sit down, true to a Korean-style bar, pickled onion and seasoned dried radish come out as basic side dishes! And a ggulkkwabaegi (honey twist snack), an old-school treat I hadn't seen in a while, hahaha. Every table has a table order tablet so ordering was easy haha.
What we ordered: chicken nurungji hot pot and woo samgyeop jjagyechi!!🤤 Bottom line first — both are totally recommended!!👏👏

Chicken nurungji hot pot, 25,000 won: a whole chicken in the pot
Jansang's chicken nurungji hot pot (a hot pot with nurungji, scorched rice) is ₩25,000 and comes with a whole chicken in it. The first thing to arrive was the chicken nurungji hot pot!! Oh,,, the visual alone could put dedicated chicken hot pot restaurants to shame, right?✨ I tasted the broth first and it's genuinely rich, the kind that cures a hangover!! Koreans really do need broth..♥
Since the whole chicken goes in as is, they give you tongs and scissors to cut it into easy-to-eat pieces~!! The chicken comes out not fully cooked, so we cut it and simmered it until it was cooked through — the chicken thigh meat cut so tender…👏👏👏
And the portion is way bigger than expected!! For ₩25,000, that's a pretty amazing hot pot menu, right?
Woo samgyeop jjagyechi, 8,000 won: the best-value dish to drink with
Woo samgyeop jjagyechi (beef brisket with jjapagetti and gyeran-jjim-style egg) is ₩8,000 and comes in a generous portion. Right after, the woo samgyeop jjagyechi arrived👍🏻 The visual is no joke🖤 I've genuinely been craving jjapagetti so much lately,,,!! A familiar taste is dangerous like that haha. But it never tastes the same when you make it at home 👀👀
This woo samgyeop jjagyechi with its generous portion is also just ₩8,000!!👍🏻👍🏻 This place is such a value bar..♥

Hahaha we were inhaling it at the bar hahaha. The well-cooked glass noodles with the moist, tender chicken thigh meat and the nutty nurungji together were so delicious🤤

And mixing in the egg yolk and cheese, then eating it with the green onion kimchi on the side — that woo samgyeop jjagyechi is out of this world..!!! (Serving green onion kimchi as a side dish is truly the move of someone who knows..👍🏻) Even at just ₩8,000, they're generous with the beef brisket too, ㅠㅠㅠ Whatever your main dish, definitely order this woo samgyeop jjagyechi separately as an extra,,,!!⭐️
Genuinely all the anju here are delicious ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Eating good anju makes the soju go down so smoothly..💚🤪 This place is a must whenever I'm in Deokcheon from now on.. And you should really come here as your first stop..!!!!!! Since the portions are big and filling,,,ㅋㅋㅋ
Free ice cream dessert and what to order next at Jansang
Lastly, don't forget to finish with the sweet, delicious vanilla ice cream dessert><🍦🖤 It feels like it's been a while since I ate this well and satisfyingly at a bar!
It's a hot spot on the Deokcheon bar street so I visited without high expectations, but I fully recommend it as a great-value Korean food restaurant~!!👏👏 I'm already looking forward to their signature hangjeong ganjang jorim (braised pork jowl in soy sauce) and the woo samgyeop daechang jeongol (beef brisket and hanwoo large intestine hot pot) — I definitely have to come back to try those haha!
For anyone wanting a good drink at a Korean-style bar in Deokcheon, Busan!! I recommend the Korean-style bar 'Jansang'!!💚🔥
