Lately I've wanted something warm for breakfast, but making an actual meal feels like too much hassle, and just eating bread feels a little lacking 😢 Then I discovered Garuseonsaeng Seoritae Corn Bean Cream Soup! I usually love corn soup, so I was curious how this would taste — and since it's something you can mix with either warm or cold water, it seemed perfect for a quick breakfast or a snack when hungry 🌽🥣

What comes in the box and what's in Garuseonsaeng Seoritae Corn Bean Cream Soup

As the name suggests, Garuseonsaeng Seoritae Corn Bean Cream Soup is a corn-based cream soup! It's a soybean cream base made with Korean soybeans, almonds, and oats, with the nutty, sweet flavor of corn added on top.

With the naturally nutty flavor of corn combined with Korean soybeans, almonds, and oats, it felt a bit different from your typical sweet corn soup.

How to mix the corn soup powder: 2 scoops in 180ml of water

Garuseonsaeng Seoritae is apparently a brand that makes convenient meals using natural whole ingredients instead of synthetic additives, based on 100% plant protein! The Corn Bean Cream Soup I tried this time was also in convenient powder form — just add 2 scoops (30g) with the included spoon to a glass of water (150–180ml) and you get a cup of soup. What I liked most was that it dissolves well even in cold water, so you don't need to pull out a pot to boil anything 👍🏻 I was curious how it would taste, so I tried it right away 🌽🥣

Garuseonsaeng Seoritae Corn Bean Cream Soup made with warm water

As soon as it arrived I opened the package, and the powder was so fine! The moment I opened it, a nutty, sweet smell came out and I couldn't wait to try it 😊

A dedicated spoon was included, so it was easy to control the amount. Following the instructions, I scooped up a full spoon of Garuseonsaeng Seoritae Corn Bean Cream Soup with the included spoon. I poured it into a cup to keep things simple haha

Here's about two scoops in the cup. I wanted to drink it warm, so I dissolved it in 180ml of warm water. It dissolved well with no clumping!

The bright yellow corn bean cream soup looked really appetizing haha. It seemed perfect for a busy morning or a quick snack at the office.

Since it apparently dissolves well in cold water too, I mixed it with cold water and served it in a bowl just like real soup! I sprinkled a little parsley and pepper on top and it tasted even better 💕
