Where is Why Starve Diet, the Gongdeok Station salad and poke spot?
Why Starve Diet Gongdeok Main Branch (와이스타브 다이어트 공덕본점) is on the B1 level of Lotte Castle President, close to Gongdeok Station and connected to the subway. I've been eating salad and poke a lot lately to manage my diet, and when I was out on an errand near Gongdeok Station I heard there was a great salad and poke place, so I picked up takeout!

So here it is: Why Starve Diet, a Gongdeok salad favorite. It's close to Gongdeok Station and linked to the subway, so the location was really convenient to visit!

Before going in, I checked the menu posted on the glass door, and there was a huge variety, from poke to salads!

Is the atmosphere at Why Starve Diet Gongdeok Main Branch good for eating alone?
The inside of the Gongdeok Main Branch is really clean too, right?

For office workers near Gongdeok Station, it's a great vibe for a lunch break.

The shop is tidy, and it's a place I'd come back to when I want a healthy lunch box or salad on my own!

How do you order at Why Starve Diet?
Ordering at the Gongdeok Main Branch is easy with a kiosk! You can add toppings and pick your salad, so doing it myself at the kiosk was more convenient.

There's also a nutrition chart for the protein boxes posted inside the shop, so I read it on the sly while waiting for my order, haha. It's kind of fun to look at things like this while you wait.

The protein boxes at Why Starve Diet are high-protein, low-calorie meals! I've been lifting and watching my protein while also eating low-calorie to lose weight, so these are just right for my lunches and dinners.

I ordered these two.
- Chicken Light Protein Box
- Smoked Duck Light Protein Box

How many calories and how much protein are in the Chicken Light Protein Box?
The Chicken Light Protein Box at Why Starve Diet is 287kcal with 44g of protein. The steamed chicken breast is really good in this box.

I've been eating so much chicken breast lately that I'm sick of it, but the chicken breast at Why Starve Diet is so moist I feel like I could eat it all week!!

44g of protein from a single Chicken Light Protein Box!! It's the perfect lunch box for someone training hard like me.

It has chickpeas, lettuce, green beans, broccoli, bell pepper, olives and onion flakes, so you get a good spread of vegetables I usually don't manage to eat!

How was the Smoked Duck Light Protein Box?
The Smoked Duck Light Protein Box at Why Starve Diet is 445kcal with 30g of protein.

I ate the Chicken Light Protein Box for dinner and the Smoked Duck Protein Box the next day for lunch!

For the sauce, I chose the shop's recommended honey mustard sauce.

As expected, it came with the same combo of chickpeas, lettuce, green beans, broccoli, bell pepper, olives and onion flakes, and I enjoyed it, haha.

And the smoked duck was so moist and chewy!! With meals like this, I think I can keep up a healthy, tasty diet. If you're looking for a healthy, delicious spot near Gongdeok Station, or a good place to eat alone, I recommend Why Starve Diet, the Gongdeok salad favorite~~
