A downtown Daegu dog café where the dog pool comes free

Daenghaus&Bingsuking is a dog café near Dongseongno in Daegu. Pay for a drink and your dog's entry fee, and the playground and pool are included at no extra charge. Dog lovers!! I found an absolutely amazing place❗️

An acquaintance took their dog to a dog pool, so I asked about it, and it turned out to be a café where the pool is free if you buy a drink. But it was in Chilgok-gun.... Those of us without a car can't take a dog all the way to Chilgok-gun 🥹

Then I heard that a dog café had opened in Dongseongno too, where you only pay for a drink and your dog's entry fee and get the playground + pool for free!! Shut up and take my money~~~~ As a dog owner living in Daegu, this is a place that really deserves our business :) There's nothing like this nearby, so the owner must truly love dogs 👍🏻 Let's all visit so it can stay around for a long time, fellow dog people 🐶🐾

Daenghaus&Bingsuking location and opening info

Daenghaus&Bingsuking is in a detached building at 95-2 Jungang-daero 81-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu, and the hours are written as OPEN 11:00 / CLOSE 10:00, open every day. There is no parking. Reservations, group use, pets and takeout are all possible. It also accepts the high oil price relief support fund.

What do the exterior and entrance look like?

This Daegu dog café sits in the back alley behind Daegu Modern Alley Red Bean Bun in Yangnyeongsi (the old herbal medicine market), so it's very easy to get to! As you walk down the alley you'll see a container building, and that's the place I'm introducing. It only opened recently, so even the entrance feels really fresh, and the gate installed for the dogs' safety looked sturdy!

Daenghaus&Bingsuking floor by floor

• 1F café/outdoor pool

• 3F kindergarten/terrace

That's the layout. Floors 1 and 2 are for café guests, while the 3rd floor is a kindergarten, so keep that in mind! There were lots of kindergarten pups too haha.

Inside the café, the seats are spaced really far apart so the dogs can run around, and the chairs and tables were clean and nice. There are sofas here and there, even a bed-like sofa, so it looks great for relaxing with your dog haha.

Daenghaus&Bingsuking dog entry fees and menu

Since it's a dog café, one menu item per person is required, and the dog entry fee depends on weight. Besides drinks they sell food like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and pasta, and quite a few people were having a light meal in between playing with their dogs! Must be a good eatery haha.

As soon as I sat down, a very cute dog hopped onto my lap. If you like dogs, definitely come to Daenghaus&Bingsuking. It's also a bingsu (shaved ice dessert) hotspot, so plenty of people came just for bingsu without any dog!

Your dog's first swim in the Daenghaus&Bingsuking outdoor pool

The 1st-floor outdoor pool at Daenghaus&Bingsuking is surprisingly deep, and life jackets are provided. I honestly came here just for this pool!! A dog pool in downtown Daegu, ㅠ The water being fairly deep was great, and with life jackets available we could play really comfortably.

It was our dog's first swim ever, and thanks to the life jacket the pup could practice swimming hard. So how did the practice go!! Super good, right? It was so cute and so much fun. It felt like a summer getaway, and we made good memories haha.

What should owners bring to a dog pool?

If you're going into the water too, it's best to bring a large towel for the dog and a change of clothes. For reference, the water came up to the top of my thighs (I'm short), so my clothes got completely soaked, okay? LOL If you're getting in, I'd bring a big dog towel and spare clothes!

To use the shower room after swimming, it's ₩5,000 extra.

How were the dolce latte, hot chocolate and puppuccino?

At Daenghaus&Bingsuking we ordered a dolce latte, a hot chocolate, and a puppuccino for the dog.

I didn't expect much from the drinks at a dog café, but both tasted good! The puppuccino seemed a little pricey for the amount, but the facilities are so good that I was fine with it haha. Most importantly, our dog ate it up.

Greeting all the cute friends, 2 hours flew by in no time, and it was a really fun visit :) (Even on a weekday there were lots of kindergarten pups, so weekends must be really packed.)
