Fire chicken and potato pizza combo at Sillim: Pug Pizza House

Today I want to introduce a place near Sillim Station with great vibes and great food, from pizza to pasta! It's easy to reach from Sillim Station, and best of all, it has a pet zone for dogs, so it seemed like a solid pick for a pizza-and-beer night with your dog too. This is Sillim's pizza spot, 'Pug Pizza'!

Exterior and parking

It took about a 5-minute walk from Sillim Station Exit 6! From the outside alone it had this vibe like a pizza-and-beer spot by some foreign beach — hip and pretty at first glance. The building has three floors, so it was a lot bigger than I expected! There's no parking on-site, so I'd recommend public transit :)

Interior vibe

The interior had a clean feel centered around wood tones! Sunlight streams in really nicely, so overall it was bright and had great atmosphere :)

Once you're seated, you order through table ordering!! For takeout, there's no wait — just order at the kiosk. They said kiosk takeout orders automatically apply the takeout discount price :)

We had reserved ahead, so there was reserved seating ready for us on the 2nd floor. There were baby chairs prepared too, so it looked comfortable to visit with kids as well :)

Menu and discounts

Once you sit down, you can order easily from the kiosk at your table! They said there's a 30% discount for weekday lunch, so if you're planning to visit on a weekday afternoon, keep that in mind! If you're ordering multiple items like we did, it's worth comparing the set menus too! There were quite a variety of review events too?? Getting Budweiser at 80% off,,, amazing,,

Pizza sizes — regular is right for two

(Check the photo for pizza size reference!) The medium size seemed a bit small for two people. For me it was almost one-person portion..? haha I ordered the regular size, and it was just right for two.

4 self-serve sauces

While waiting for our order, I checked out the self-serve bar! From cutlery like forks, knives, and spoons, to disposable gloves, water, pickles, and even 4 kinds of sauce (garlic dip, ranch, corn butter, chipotle), you could grab it all!

These days you basically have to get garlic dip at any pizza place, and here they had 4 different sauces ready, plus you could take as much as you wanted!!! This part was really nice haha

They also had takeout bags and adorable takeout boxes ready, so even if you order a large size, you could pack up your pizza comfortably (I want that box)

Deutsch fillet potato & quattro cheese fire chicken pizza

Our order arrived!!!! It looked amazing right off the bat.....

I ordered a half-and-half pizza with 'Deutsch fillet potato' and 'quattro cheese fire chicken,' plus 'pepperoni ragu cheese pasta'! And I heard the 'whole-cheese milk crust bagel edge' is famous here, so I added that too haha (a person who needs cheese crust without fail...) I also got the draft beer, essential with pizza.

This one, the second I bit in, tasted exactly like buldak bokkeum myeon (fire chicken noodles) haha. That distinct spicy fire chicken flavor hits right away, and pizza tends to get greasy after a while, right? That's when the fire chicken pizza came in with its spiciness — the combo was just right.

Deutsch fillet potato

My favorite by far was the 'Deutsch fillet potato' pizza!! It was creamy without being greasy, and the tomato flavor came through nicely salty too — exactly the taste of a good potato pizza! The potato pieces weren't too big either, so I could enjoy it without feeling too heavy :)

I dipped the pizza to my taste, and with so many different sauces, it was fun trying each one. And the milk crust was seriously fluffy and delicious ㅜㅜ Not salty, just tasty whole cheese!! I'd absolutely recommend the 'whole-cheese milk crust' haha

Pepperoni ragu cheese pasta

The pepperoni ragu cheese pasta had a strong tomato flavor. The sauce was rich, so it paired well with the pizza too, and with the cheese added it was delicious.

The one disappointment was that the ragu sauce flavor,,, wasn't quite there? There was no real chunk-of-meat texture, but the sauce itself was tasty so I enjoyed it satisfied :)

3rd-floor pet-only space: pizza and beer with your dog

One of Pug Pizza's biggest strengths is that there's a dedicated floor you can use together with your dog!!! I sometimes dine with my dog too, so places like this are so welcome 😊 You do need to follow the pet zone usage rules :)

So that you can dine safely with your dog, the interior has a safety gate like this, so even if your dog gets down and wanders around, it's not dangerous!

What I especially liked was that they had a dog cushion and even a stroller ready! A cushion is one thing, but the stroller genuinely surprised me. It's not just 'dogs allowed' — it felt like they'd thought through quite a lot of details for guests visiting with their dogs!!

And there's a cute dog photo zone too 🥹💕 Photos here would come out really adorable, so dog owners especially would love it haha

Overall verdict

With a 5-minute walk from Sillim Station, easy access, and a spacious three-floor space with a hip vibe, this was a great pizza spot for pizza and beer haha. Personally, the Deutsch fillet potato was my favorite, and I especially loved how fluffy the dough and edge were haha. With 4 sauces available to take as much as you like, plus containers ready for packing up leftover pizza, it was really convenient!

Above all, having a dedicated pet space where you can dine together with your dog means enjoying pizza and beer with your pup would be great too ><. If you're in Sillim looking for a pizza place with good vibes or a pizza-and-beer spot, I'd say give 'Pug Pizza' a visit! haha
