What is Working Holiday Minrak, the café on the 7th floor of Bada Maru?

Walking along Minrak Suybeon-ro, I wanted to see the sea a little closer, so I stopped by Working Holiday Minrak on the 7th floor of Bada Maru. It's a space where Gwangan Bridge and the ocean spread out beyond the windows, and my mood brightened before I'd even started eating. It's a Gwangalli brunch café where you can enjoy brunch and coffee in the morning, or unwind with pizza in the evening.

Best of all was the window seat. Looking out at the sea under the sunlight pouring through the full-length windows, I felt like I was taking a real break during my Busan trip.

What we ordered at Working Holiday Minrak and what it cost

At Working Holiday Minrak, we ordered bolognese pasta (₩20,000), margherita pizza (₩20,000), and two glasses of draft beer. The Naver receipt review event gave us a financier as well.

Ordered menu items set on a table facing the sea

The margherita pizza is a classic that lets you enjoy the combination of tomato, cheese, and basil.

The golden-browned crust and pockets of melted cheese caught my eye first.

A lifted slice of margherita pizza

Lifting a slice, the thin center folds softly, and the colors of the tomato sauce and basil blend together freshly.

It was nice to share slice by slice at a leisurely pace while looking out at the sea.

Bolognese pasta, 20,000 won

The bolognese pasta is a handmade ragù pasta made by simmering beef and tomatoes slowly.

With cheese and basil sitting atop the red ragù sauce, it looked appetizing from the color alone.

Twirling the noodles brought the sauce along with them, so every bite carried the flavor of tomato and meat together.

An afternoon in Gwangalli with a glass of draft beer

Draft beer. A place where you can enjoy brunch, pizza, pasta, and coffee from morning to night. Working Holiday Minrak was a good place to sit facing the sea, talk, and take our time. It's a Gwangalli brunch café worth visiting whether you're stopping by with a friend visiting Busan or just want to spend a mealtime a little differently from usual.

Is Working Holiday Minrak worth a visit?

We sat by the window looking out at Gwangan Bridge and shared pizza and pasta. Thanks to the spacious room filled with sunlight, I felt relaxed throughout the meal. The margherita pizza had a fresh combination of tomato, cheese, and basil, and the bolognese pasta's ragù sauce blended well with the noodles. With draft beer alongside it all, it was a good time to slowly chat with a friend.
