Where is Daecheon Brewery, and is there parking?

Daecheon Brewery Craft Beer Brewery & Pizza Pub is at 65-71 Daeryangbiseonjae-gil, Boryeong-si, Chungnam, open 12:00–22:00 with a weekday break time from 15:00–17:00. You'll find it just off the fork leading into Daecheon Beach, and the exterior alone gives off major resort vibes!

Parking is easy since there's a large lot right in front of the store :) The restroom is inside, and there's a baby chair too.

Inside Daecheon Brewery: the brewery window and seating

The interior is really spacious with high ceilings, so it never felt cramped at all! And the decor throughout gave off a strong resort feel~

There were tables outside too, and straw parasols plus plants really nailed the beach-pub feel :)

Inside, there's an on-site brewery, and you can see the whole brewing setup at a glance through a big glass window.

Craft beer display, gift sets and goods at Daecheon Brewery

The fridge had a neat lineup of the craft beers made in-house at Daecheon Brewery. With a good variety by type, you could pick and drink according to your taste.

They also sell beer gift sets, which seemed like a nice gift for a friend who likes drinking!

And one corner of the store had various goods on sale alongside the beer.

Looking at the signatures on the wall, it seems like quite a few celebrities have stopped by this Daecheon craft beer spot!

What two adults and one baby ordered

We visited as 2 adults and 1 baby. Our order was the solo platter, gorgonzola pizza, Wonsando IPA, Manse Boryeong Rice Beer, and Ocheon Porter.

How the gorgonzola pizza tastes

A pizza baked golden brown!

The dough was on the thin side, with the crust slightly thicker. Dipped in the honey that came with it, the salty cheese and sweet honey paired really well, and the crust had a soft yet chewy texture I loved.

What comes on the solo platter

The Daecheon Brewery solo platter is made up of sausages and wing tips that pair well with beer~

One sausage was spicy, the other had corn kernels tucked in, and dipping them in the sauce in the middle added a tangy kick — perfect beer food!! It seemed like a wholegrain mustard, but with a noticeably tangier taste than what I've had before!

Wonsando IPA vs Manse Boryeong Rice Beer vs Ocheon Porter: how they differ

The three beers we drank at Daecheon Brewery were Wonsando IPA, Manse Boryeong Rice Beer, and Ocheon Porter. Of the three, the gently tart Manse Boryeong Rice Beer suited my taste the most.

Wonsando IPA had that classic bitter hop flavor with a clean finish. The bitterness leans stronger than the sweetness, so if you like that signature beer taste, this one should suit you well.

Manse Boryeong Rice Beer had a gentle tartness and was light and clean to drink. Thanks to the tartness not being overdone, the finish wasn't heavy either — this was my favorite :)

Ocheon Porter was a beer with that distinct dark chocolate aroma and a bitter coffee note. It left behind a heavy yet clean bitterness that lingered. I'm not usually a fan of dark beers, but this one actually worked for my taste~

Is Daecheon Brewery worth a visit near Daecheon Beach?

Overall, everything from the atmosphere to the food to the craft beer really won me over.

Both the outdoor and indoor spaces had a relaxed vibe, and being able to pick from a variety of craft beers depending on your taste was a big plus :) If you're looking for a good-vibe beer spot in Daecheon, this is a place worth stopping by! Recommended if you're near Daecheon Beach👍
