Hongdae nail salon round-shape fix, pink glitter gradient: Byuazeu

Where is Byuazeu in Hongdae, and what are the hours and parking?

Walk about 300m from Exit 9 of Hongik Univ. Station and you'll find Byuazeu tucked in an alley! It's in the building across from Mapo Lifelong Learning Center (Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education)~

Byuazeu Hongdae doesn't have its own parking lot, unfortunately ㅠㅠ If you're driving, the Mapo Lifelong Learning Center parking lot nearest to the shop is your best bet!

At this good-value Hongdae nail salon, you swap into slippers at the entrance!

The waiting area was small but neat and clean.

They handed me a drink from the mini fridge, which was perfect since I was thirsty haha

Byuazeu Hongdae's interior near Hongik Univ. Station is roughly split into a nail/pedicure area and a skincare area!

There were two seats each for nail and pedicure, and it seemed like the shop mostly runs on reservations! There can be same-day availability even a day before, but I'd definitely recommend making a Naver Reservation before visiting😌💛

The variety of nail polish colors was genuinely huge, so you'll probably find whatever shade you're after. The nail artists here have between 9 and 19 years of experience, so I felt in good hands!

Byuazeu price list: nail art from ₩45,000

Here's the treatment price list! Nail art basically starts at ₩45,000 — that's really good value among nail salons near Hongik Univ. Station, right?! They also do a variety of skincare treatments, so I might try one next time!

Also, there's a ₩5,000 discount event running for anyone who leaves a Naver or Google review, so be sure to grab that if you're planning to review after your treatment!

How many design options does Byuazeu have?

I photographed all the designs at this good-value Hongdae nail spot hahaha! From basic magnetic nails and gradient nails to cute character designs, there was so much variety! The small number on the left of each design board is the price — for example, '49' means '₩49,000'!

For magnetic nails, you pick the design first, then can change it to whatever color you want. The color range is huge, and the magnetic nail types differ slightly too, so it was fun choosing!

The glitter nails and other designs also come in various colors, right?! Same deal — once you finalize the design, you can change the color to your taste~

Before: filing nails of uneven length into a round shape

Let's look at my before shot~! I'd been growing my nails out for this appointment, and they were a mess haha. I hadn't trimmed them at all, so the lengths were all over the place;;

The nail artist got straight into trimming without hesitation. I personally prefer getting my nails done quietly rather than chatting a lot, and she matched my mood perfectly and kept things comfortable!

Here are my nails after the first round of shaping! I asked for a round shape~ and the previously uneven lengths were now neatly matched!

I decided to go with these ₩79,000 magnetic nails! The parts on top of the magnetic nails looked so pretty, and I loved the glitter gradient too✨️

Since both the magnetic gel and glitter could have their colors changed, I went with a super-pink vibe~!

After: pink magnetic gel nails finished in 30 minutes

Here's my hand right after the treatment! The nail artist worked so quickly that the whole thing only took about 30 minutes total.

I retook a photo at home in the same spot as the before shot, and my fingertips definitely sparkled — such a mood boost☺️
