Third-floor tables built for laptop work

We stayed on the 3rd floor of Selected Nicks for a while that day since we had some laptop work to do. The tables were wide and the space wasn't cramped at all, so it was pretty comfortable to work in ⭐

I'm the type who gets distracted even while focusing, haha, and with a Nintendo sitting right next to me, it was work, then play, then back to work... a perfect day, haha. If you're looking for somewhere to work among Gangnam Station cafés, I think you'd really like this place 💕

The 2nd floor of Selected Nicks feels like a gallery

I went to check out the 2nd floor of Selected Nicks, and compared to the 3rd floor where we'd been, it was overall white-toned, giving it a clean, cool feel. There were colorful artworks hanging on the walls too, so it felt more like a small gallery than just a café ⭐

Another plus: the space is so wide that it doesn't feel cramped even with people around. Looks like a good pick for anyone who wants both atmosphere and coffee in a Yeoksam café 💕

The rooftop with parasols

Head up to the top of Selected Nicks and there's an outdoor space — on a nice-weather day like this, the rooftop was seriously the best!!! Just sitting under the parasols put me in a good mood 🌿

With a light breeze drifting by, you don't even need to do anything, it's just great for zoning out, haha (❁´◡\`❁). After staring at a monitor all day, sitting outside and catching the breeze totally reset my head 💕 If outdoor space matters to you when picking a large Gangnam Station café, this place is pretty solid!

Browsing the dessert case: tiramisu in several flavors

The dessert selection at Selected Nicks was bigger than I expected ⭐ Just for tiramisu alone there was banana tiramisu, chocolate tiramisu, pistachio tiramisu, and more!

There was such a wide variety that I spent ages browsing, haha. There were also financiers in various flavors. I honestly wanted to try one of each, haha.

Why we picked the lemon financier

Out of everything at Selected Nicks, we went with the lemon financier 💕 The financier's signature nutty, dense texture got a bright lemon kick on top, which made it a perfect match with coffee ⭐ Instead of just being heavily sweet, the citrus brightness made it easy to finish without feeling weighed down.

Next time I want to try the pistachio tiramisu, haha.

A Gangnam Station café where you can stay for hours

Selected Nicks was less of a grab-a-coffee-and-go café and more of a place to settle in and enjoy at your own pace.
