A pizza place worth waiting for, over and over — Low Five Anguk.
The weather's been so nice lately that a close friend and I headed out to Anguk for a stroll after a while apart. We stopped in for lunch at Low Five, an Anguk favorite. Great atmosphere, and the food was even better 👏 We ordered a bunch of things, and the corn pizza in particular had us both gasping after one bite — completely our taste...😚 Still thinking about it haha
It's such a hot spot that a queue forms before opening, so here's my waiting-line report on Low Five Anguk along with the menu items I tried and their prices :)
Where is Low Five Anguk and when is it open?
Low Five Anguk is at 20-3 Bukchon-ro, 1F, Jongno-gu, Seoul (60 Jae-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul). It's open from 11:30 to 21:00, with a break time from 15:00 to 17:00 and last orders at 14:20 and 19:30. Closed every Monday.

How long is the weekday wait at Low Five Anguk?
Low Five Anguk is easy to reach, within a 5-minute walk of Anguk Station :) The brick exterior fit right in with the hanok-lined alleys of Anguk. The atmosphere was so nice I kept taking photos 😊!
No reservations — it's on-site waiting only. The restaurant opens at 11:30, but CatchTable on-site sign-up starts at 11:05am.
We got there around 11:10 and six teams were already waiting 👀 On a weekday, of all things haha. Anguk draws so many tourists that weekday and weekend don't seem to make much difference.
Next to the waiting sign was a menu board, and while we waited before opening a staff member came out to take our order in advance.
Inside Low Five Anguk: the wood-tone dining room
While waiting, I got to look around the inside of Low Five Anguk. Since it was before opening and still quiet, it was a great chance to take in the whole space ;)
Wood-tone tables, warm lighting, and plants dotted throughout — it felt even better than I expected.
The vibe matched Anguk's quiet, old-town feel, making it a great spot to catch up with a friend over a meal — or an equally good stop on an Anguk date 😊
Low Five Anguk menu and prices
We pre-ordered while waiting in line, but once seated, each table has a QR code so you can order more easily that way too.
The menu covers pizza, pasta, sides, and drinks — pizzas run in the mid-₩20,000s, while pasta and sides are in the ₩10,000–20,000 range.

Since there were two of us, this is what we ordered 😋 Loved that you can get a half-and-half to try two flavors at once ;)
Caesar salad, lasagna and corn-taco pizza: how they tasted
Water, cutlery, and jalapeños are set out at the table by default, and hot sauce is available at the self-serve bar in the middle of the restaurant.
First up was the classic Caesar salad (₩12,000), generous with the cheese — loved it haha
Squeezing juice from the lightly grilled lemon over it added a nice brightness — perfect for waking up the appetite before the pizza arrived ❣️
And then the half-and-half pizza and lasagna showed up too 😋
The classic lasagna came out deeply browned, with a tomato-based meat sauce carrying a subtle herb aroma and a rich, almost upscale flavor. Definitely tastier than your typical lasagna 👏👏 It sells out fast because it's so popular, so I'd recommend ordering it while you can!

The corn pizza with its charred kernels and the taco pizza topped with cilantro both catch your eye right away haha. The sweet, creamy corn pizza is seriously charming, and the taco pizza — topped with shrimp for that real taco feel — is quite spicy, so watch out!
Both were great, but the corn pizza was the one I genuinely kept thinking about... I really hope you order it — it's a must.

Is Low Five Anguk worth the queue for pizza in Bukchon?
Stopping by Low Five in Anguk on a stroll with a friend after a while — even with the weekday wait, every dish we ordered made it worth it. The corn pizza especially is exactly my taste, the kind that keeps popping into my head afterward ❣️ I want to go back again just for that, and soon haha. If you're looking for a great pizza spot in Anguk, I'd recommend Low Five Anguk :) !
