Jongno Italian restaurant with a 7:30pm last order: Low Five Anguk
In short
Low Five Anguk is a pizza and pasta restaurant about 188 meters from Anguk Station Exit 2, on the road leading to Bukchon in Jongno, Seoul. The order was a half and half pizza (26,000 won) split between corn pizza and Tex-Mex taco pizza, plus shrimp spicy rigatoni (18,000 won) and a classic Caesar salad (12,000 won). The corn pizza was nutty with kernels that popped, and the shrimp spicy rigatoni was the kind of pasta worth returning for.

Anguk Station pizza spot Low Five, with a half corn pizza and shrimp spicy rigatoni. I stopped by Low Five Anguk when I wanted to properly enjoy pizza and pasta near Anguk.

Where is Low Five Anguk, and how do you book a table?
Low Five Anguk is about 188 meters from Anguk Station Exit 2, so it's easy to find by subway, and it's also a great spot to eat after wandering around Bukchon or Insadong.

I love corn so much that I'd had my eye on the corn pizza for a while. But since choosing just one flavor felt like a waste, I ordered the half and half pizza so I could also try the Tex-Mex taco pizza.

📍 Low Five Anguk is located at 20-3 Bukchon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, 1st floor. Last order is at 7:30 PM, and reservations can be made through CatchTable.
Sitting right on the path toward Bukchon, it also worked well as a spot for an Anguk date or a gathering with friends.

What we ordered at Low Five Anguk and what it cost
With pizza, pasta, salad, and beer all available in one place, it also seemed like a great spot when you're craving pizza and beer together. We ordered the half and half pizza for ₩26,000, shrimp spicy rigatoni for ₩18,000, and classic Caesar salad for ₩12,000. For the pizza, we split it between corn pizza and Tex-Mex taco pizza.
When you can't decide which pizza to get, the half and half pizza — letting you enjoy two flavors on one pie — is a great choice.
🌽 Corn pizza with kernels that pop
The corn pizza I was most looking forward to came topped with white truffle cream, bacon, chili shrimp, butter seasoning, and grilled corn. Lifting up a slice, the savory aroma hit first, and the corn kernels popped in my mouth.
The combination of sweet grilled corn, salty bacon, and mildly spicy chili shrimp was never one-note, so I kept reaching for more even after finishing a slice. This wasn't a pizza with corn scattered on for decoration — you could feel corn's presence with every bite. The white truffle cream and butter seasoning added richness, and my favorite sweet-salty-savory combo was fully alive here.
Eating it with a cold beer was truly the best pizza-and-beer pairing! If you're looking for a good pizza spot near Anguk, I'd definitely recommend the corn pizza.
🌮 How spicy is the Tex-Mex taco pizza?
For the other half, I chose the Tex-Mex taco pizza. Built on a spicy chipotle base with grilled shrimp, hot chicken, bacon, salsa topping, and cilantro, it had a completely different charm from the corn pizza. If the corn pizza was soft and savory, the Tex-Mex taco pizza was spicy and bold.

Switching back and forth between the two flavors kept things from getting boring till the end, and the fragrant cilantro plus spicy chipotle paired well with beer too. If you don't want to miss out on either savory or spicy, try ordering the half and half pizza.

🍝 Shrimp spicy rigatoni, the best pasta of the meal
The dish that completely won me over that day was the shrimp spicy rigatoni. It's a spicy rigatoni pasta with shrimp and bacon, and one bite in, I found myself saying, "This is a life-changing pasta!"
The plump shrimp were bouncy, and the salty umami of the bacon melted naturally into the sauce. Rigatoni is a thick, tube-shaped pasta with a hole through the middle, so the spicy sauce fills all the way into the noodle. I also loved how you could taste the chewy noodle and the rich sauce together in every bite.
It wasn't just spicy for the sake of being spicy — the shrimp's flavor, the bacon's umami, and the sauce's heat came together in balance, and I kept thinking about it even after finishing. If you're looking for a good pasta spot near Anguk Station, the shrimp spicy rigatoni is the first thing I'd recommend.

🥗 Is the classic Caesar salad worth 12,000 won?
The classic Caesar salad comes with lemon, ranch dressing, and Reggiano cheese.
The crisp vegetables, bright lemon, and savory cheese flavor cleaned up my palate nicely between the pizza and pasta.

Final verdict on the three dishes and what to order next time
Pizza and pasta alone would've been delicious, but adding the Caesar salad rounded out the meal without any heaviness. Everything we ate at Low Five Anguk had its own distinct personality. The corn pizza was memorable for its savory taste and popping corn kernels, the Tex-Mex taco pizza for its spicy, hearty toppings, and the shrimp spicy rigatoni for its rich umami and chewy texture.

Of all of them, the shrimp spicy rigatoni was the life-changing pasta I want to eat again. Next time, I'm definitely trying the Alfredo cream pasta, which is described as having a deep truffle aroma.
