Hi, it's Logi :) I go to so many cafés while traveling Jeju, and this time instead of just a pretty café, I wanted to find one with genuinely tasty desserts haha. That's how I ended up at Lala Cafe!

It's near the entrance to Gyorae-ri Samdasoo Village and pretty close to Ecoland too, so it's a great spot to stop mid-trip. Their signature menu is apple mango bingsu (shaved ice dessert), so that's what I tried on this visit 🥭
Where is Lala Cafe? Five minutes by car from Ecoland
Lala Cafe is on Namjoro in Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, about 5 minutes from Ecoland. Since it's near the entrance to Gyorae-ri Samdasoo Village, it's an easy stop in the middle of an east Jeju travel course.

Since it's only about 5 minutes from Ecoland, it's a nice place to grab dessert right after visiting Ecoland.

Parking is also pretty spacious, so it's convenient even if you're road-tripping around Jeju 🚗
Inside Lala Cafe: the room and the bakery display case
Inside, Lala Cafe was spacious and clean, with comfortable spacing between tables — a good layout even for a group.
As soon as I walked in I liked how spacious and clean the space was. The tables weren't cramped and the overall feel was relaxed, so I thought it'd be fine even with a bigger group. Above all, it felt as well-kept as a newly opened café.

When you travel around Jeju you end up hitting a bunch of cafés, and sometimes the bread and desserts are just left out in the open on the display shelves. Personally that kind of thing bugs me a little, so I liked that Lala Cafe's bakery case is enclosed.
Lala Cafe's signature apple mango bingsu: price and what's on it
The whole point of this visit was Lala Cafe's signature Jeju apple fresh mango bingsu — ₩49,000 for two, or ₩69,000 for the 4-person sinseollo (brass hot-pot bowl) version.

The biggest reason for this visit! The apple mango bingsu 🥭
- Jeju Apple Fresh Mango Sinseollo Bingsu (for 4): ₩69,000
- Jeju Apple Fresh Mango Bingsu (for 2): ₩49,000
- Jeju Apple Mango Smoothie: ₩14,000
- Jeju Apple Mango Juice: ₩14,000
- Jeju Apple Mango Yogurt Smoothie: ₩14,000
- Snow Ice Old-Style Red Bean Bingsu: ₩29,000
Mango bingsu in Jeju tends to run pricey, but hey, you're on vacation — you can't skip apple mango bingsu in Jeju lol.

Lala Cafe's apple mango bingsu is finely shaved ice topped with homemade mango sauce and a generous amount of fresh mango.

Every spoonful of shaved ice brings mango along with it — a setup any mango lover would be happy with! Because it's fresh mango, that distinctive sweet, fragrant mango flavor really comes through 💚💚 The ice is finely shaved too, so it melts smoothly in your mouth, and eaten with the mango sauce the sweetness really hits 🥭

Condensed milk and mango topping come on the side, so you can drizzle them on to taste — so good 💛 Personally I don't love bingsu that's just a mountain of ice with barely any topping, but here the mango is piled on generously, which I loved.

The same apple mango supplied to the Shilla Hotel
Lala Cafe notes that they use apple mango handpicked directly in Jeju, and you could tell they cared about bringing out the flavor of the mango itself. They say it's the same mango supplied to the Shilla Hotel!

Eating the mango sauce and fresh mango on top of the ice, you get the sweet mango flavor first, followed by the cool bingsu — a great combo!
Fritz coffee beans and the bakery menu prices
Besides the apple mango bingsu, Lala Cafe also sells coffee and baked goods, and the coffee is made with Fritz beans.

Lala Cafe sells coffee and bakery items alongside the apple mango bingsu. The coffee uses Fritz beans.

A lot of people love Fritz beans, so it's a nice setup if you want a cup of coffee alongside your bingsu rather than just the shaved ice alone. When I'm out and about all day traveling Jeju, I really do need those café breaks in between with a cup of coffee.

They also sell baked goods, and like I mentioned earlier, the display case is enclosed, which I liked. A lot of cafés these days leave bread out in an open display, but here it's stored neatly, which looks nice and also feels more hygienic.
