Right around the time bar dates started to feel repetitive, I found a place so full of atmosphere that stepping through the door felt like entering a completely different world! Today I'm bringing you my honest review of Dosi Night, a Korean-style bar and grill near Isu Station, where my boyfriend and I were won over twice — once by the mood, and once by the owner's incredible sense of hospitality. Let me walk you through this romantic night, sipping drinks under what felt like an actual night sky.

Why Dosi Night's interior feels like a night sky indoors
Dosi Night is a bar near Isu Station where the entire ceiling is covered in navy wallpaper dotted densely with stars. From the entrance, a sign with a deep navy background and glittering stars painted across it caught my eye instantly. The moment I stepped inside, I couldn't help but gasp!

Since the whole ceiling is covered in star-studded navy wallpaper, even though we were clearly indoors, it felt like drinking under an open night sky — dreamy and immersive.

On top of that, each table has a round, moon-shaped LED lamp, and even the tableware — angular glass cups and small side plates — felt genuinely stylish.
Dosi Night's three events and the free milk thistle pill
Dosi Night has three things posted for customers: a donation event, a free side dish for receipt reviews, and a milk thistle service. As I sat down and read through the notices, I realized the owner's sense of hospitality was truly on another level!

- 1. Good-cause donation event: On the 1st of every month, the owner publicly announces a donation amount tied to how much their Instagram following has grown. It warmed my heart so much I hit the follow button right away.
- 2. Free side dish for receipt reviews: Write a receipt review and you can get either the Dosi Night mixed skewers or the marinated tomato burrata for free!
- 3. Liver-care service: For the sake of drinking customers' condition, they hand out a milk thistle pill to each guest! A touch that perfectly reads the minds of drinkers — genuinely moving.

The basic side dish is nachos with sauce drizzled on top. It leans more toward a beer snack, but I think it's the least polarizing option they could offer.
Dosi Drop, the signature shot you down the second it lands
Dosi Night's signature shot is a deep blue drink called Dosi Drop. To match the mood, we ordered Dosi Drop (2 shots) as our first round, and the color in the glass was so brilliant and beautiful.

We were told you're supposed to shoot it the moment it arrives, so my boyfriend and I knocked it back right away. It was as sweet and electric in taste as it was pretty to look at, and it instantly raised our pre-meal energy.
Japanese-style pork jowl cream pasta: crisp-edged pork jowl
For our main dish, we picked Dosi Night's Japanese-style pork jowl cream pasta. The moment it arrived, a rich, nutty cream aroma hit us! It wasn't just sauce — the pasta was loaded with pork jowl meat, its signature crunchy texture fully intact.

The cream, which can easily turn heavy, was balanced out by a Japanese-style umami depth that kept it from feeling greasy, and twirling the chewy noodles around a rich piece of pork jowl was every bit as good as pasta from a dedicated pasta restaurant.
Whiskey highball vs green-grape highball: how do they taste?
We also ordered two more highballs at Dosi Night: a whiskey highball and a green-grape highball. The food alone felt slightly lacking, so we ordered one of each!

- Whiskey highball (my pick): Clean, no-frills, a true classic whiskey highball! It refreshingly cuts through the richness of the cream pasta.
- Green-grape highball (my boyfriend's pick): Loaded with green grape and green apple base, this one bursts with tangy-sweet fruit aroma. A great pick for anyone who isn't a strong drinker!
At the register: a dog photo and gummy worms to take home
We finished the meal on a happy note and headed to the register, where a photo of the owner's dog was displayed right on the payment tablet screen — my heart nearly skipped a beat. So unbelievably cute.

On top of that, the owner sent us off with mini gummy candy to enjoy as a palate cleanser on the way home — one last thoughtful touch that moved us all over again.
Dosi Night near Isu Station, where we soaked in a romantic night-sky mood under the moon-shaped table lights! From the delicious pork jowl cream pasta to the brilliant Dosi Drop and the thoughtfulness of the milk thistle service, it was the perfect date spot.
