Walking from Jonggak Station toward Jogyesa, I stopped in my tracks when I spotted this pizza-and-beer place with outdoor-stall vibes...🥹 You simply can't resist beer in the fresh autumn air, right?! The terrace seats were already packed with guests. They had to be Jongno office workers, haha. This is <Didi's Pizza Pub Jongno Main Branch>, on the first floor of Doosan We've Pavilion right beside Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun.

Draft beer with a baseball broadcast

There was a TV hanging inside, and it was showing a baseball game! Maybe because there was no LG/Doosan game that day, they had Samsung versus Kiwoom on😆 As a Samsung fan, I was very, very happy〰️ ((((This year's Korean Series champions: Samsung Lions🦁💙🏆)))

How many draft-beer kegs does this place have...♥️ They carry three draft brands: Asahi, Kirin, and Terra. Since I was drinking alone, I ordered the least expensive, Terra, but Asahi and Kirin have a buy-four-get-one-free promotion! If you're visiting in a group, I gently recommend the Japanese drafts, haha.

Thin pizza and street-food-stall-worthy sides

〰️Didi's Pizza Pub menu〰️ There were more than 10 kinds of pizza, all in a thin-pizza style. There are half-and-half pizza options too, which is great for two people. Plus, I was moved by the side-dish lineup that gives street food stalls a run for their money, haha. With tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), pasta, and even honey tomatoes, there are lots of great drinking snacks, so it looked perfect for the second or third stop of a company dinner😋

First up, a freshly poured draft beer. Ah... you worked so hard going to the office again this week. Cheers...⭐️

#TerraDraftBeer The bubbles popped and crackled like makgeolli (Korean rice wine). I loved that dense, springy foam so much💯 Wait, was Terra beer always this good...? It tastes on a completely different level from bottled beer!!!!!!! The staff member who poured it really has skills (highest praise).

I gave them extra points for serving chicken-leg-shaped crackers as the complimentary snack.

Jalapeño Pepperoni & Mushroni Pizza with extra arugula

Jalapeño Pepperoni & Mushroni Pizza (₩23,800), making its glorious entrance✨ It's thin pizza, but the amount of cheese is incredible.

The arugula I added for ₩2,500 (highly recommended). It came on a separate plate, and I was surprised by how much there was. This much would probably cost over ₩4,000 at Kurly.

Pile it right on top of the pizza and it becomes Italian pizza. Arugula and pizza go so well together, seriously😍 I even considered ordering another plate of arugula, haha. The cheese stretched soooooo far—it puts a mozzarella burger to shame🧀💛

The Friday-after-work outdoor pizza-and-beer combo

Friday after work + outdoor-stall vibes + delicious pizza + amazing draft beer = paradise. This combination gives me the strength to survive another week... It reminds me of something I recently saw on Instagram, along the lines of: “Rather than finding happiness at work, feel happy about the life you get to enjoy through work!” ^.^

Even the tomato sauce underneath was soooo delicious, sobㅠㅠㅠ

Do you like pizza crust ends? I only usually like the ones with cheese crust, haha, but the edges here were baked nice and crisp. Totally perfect with beer♥️

I finished every last bite. I'm jealous of the Jonggak/Gwanghwamun office workers. Having such a wonderful outdoor pizza-and-beer spot right on their doorstep🥹 The Boramae office needs to step it up...! On a beautiful-weather day like these, I recommend enjoying the outdoor seating at <Didi's Pizza Pub Jongno Main Branch>.
