Suwon Korean restaurant for spicy pork bone soup
In short
Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a Korean restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon, Gyeonggi, serving spicy pork bone soup and pork bone hot pot. Its Eolkeunhan level had four large bones, plenty of meat, and a broth about as hot as Buldak Bokkeum Tang Myeon. Verdict: a terrific spot for a fiery hangover meal or an evening drink snack.

I found a great haejangguk (hangover soup) spot in Ingye-dong by Suwon City Hall Station and had to recommend it!! Is every pork bone haejangguk the same? No no~~~ Here comes my honest review of Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, a seriously spicy~~~ hangover-soup restaurant!

A hangover-soup restaurant near Suwon City Hall Station, with parking
It is in Drama City units 104 and 105, 52 Gyeongsu-daero 466beon-gil, Paldal-gu, Suwon, and 551 m from Exit 6 of Suwon City Hall Station. It is open 24 hours, with reservations, group dining, takeout, and delivery available. There are separate restrooms for men and women, plus two hours of free parking!

Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is about a 10-minute walk from Suwon City Hall Station, so it is very easy to get to!! It is near Rodeo Street, making it perfect for curing a hangover the day after drinking~~

Even from the entrance, that vivid red color sets it apart from ordinary hangover soup—its thing is selling a fiery version! It is not just hot for the sake of it; it is deliciously spicy, so do not be scared.

You do not have to come on foot~~ Driving over for a proper hangover meal is the absolute best~~ Of course parking is available!! Free for two hours!!

A clean, roomy space for solo diners and groups
The restaurant is really clean and spacious~ Groups are welcome, and takeout and delivery are both available! The building has separate restrooms for men and women too, so no worries about any awkward inconvenience. Eating alone is obviously okay as well! There were lots of people having a solo hangover meal that day!!

As soon as you order, the owner boils it vigorously in the back. Since the cooking area is visible, you do not have to worry about hygiene either.

Pork bone hot pot and a takeout-friendly menu
Everything on the menu is available for takeout, and the dumplings or pyeonyuk (sliced pressed pork) sides looked seriously tasty too.

They sell not only pork bone soup but also pork bone hot pot, so it is great as an evening dish with drinks too!!

How spicy is the Eolkeunhan level?
The pork bone soup comes in Regular, said to be Shin Ramyun level; Eolkeunhan, Buldak level; and Extra Eolkeunhan, hotter than Nuclear Buldak. I had tried Extra Eolkeunhan at another branch and it was way too hot, so I ordered Eolkeunhan this time—and this level was just right: nicely spicy and so good!!

The side dishes are pickled onions, kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), and mustard sauce, all perfect with pork bone soup, and you can get refills at the self-serve bar!! Of course, do not get greedy—take only what you can eat!!! You all know, right? So thoughtfully, when I ordered Zero Coke, they brought it in a cup of ice haha.

Four huge bones and a fiery broth
The visuals are insane, right?!!! Is it not even redder than other hangover soups?!! And there are so many bones too~~ One sip of the broth and wow, that is a real hangover cure!! It is genuinely deliciously fiery!! I would say about as spicy as Buldak Bokkeum Tang Myeon, or maybe a little hotter?!!

The bones were packed with meat, and there were four of these huge ones in the bowl!

The meat was wonderfully substantial, with no smell at all from being cooked so well, and it fell right apart. It melts in your mouth, melts!! At this point, I fully approve of Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch as an Ingye-dong hangover-soup favorite!!

The mustard sauce and pickles combination
Meaty pork bone soup absolutely has to be dipped in mustard sauce to be extra delicious~~~

Eating the meat with pickles was a spicy-salty flavor explosion~

No matter how much I ate, more huge bones kept appearing!! And there was so much meat clinging to them~~~ Amazing value, seriously the best!! One bite of tender meat soaked in the broth made me think of soju, but I drank too much yesterday, so I resisted! Quite a few people seemed to be having a hair-of-the-dog drink too hahaha.

Soup-rice meat plus kkakdugi—what could possibly beat that? It is like banana and Nutella. Mix rice right into that spicy~~ broth, coat every grain, and take a bite: absolute madness!! I am salivating just writing this post now ㅠ

The empty bowl, down to the last drop of broth, proves how good it was, right?!

Finishing with coffee and ice cream
For us uncle-types, the finish is vending-machine coffee.

Deodorizer and candies are ready too.

After something spicy, you crave something sweet!!! No need to go to the supermarket!

I recommend Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, an Ingye-dong hangover-soup favorite with the perfect course: even dessert, with only reliably delicious classic ice creams~~~
