When you're preparing for a wedding, Cheongdam is somewhere you end up going all the time.

The problem is that Cheongdam prices are so high...!ㅠㅠ (So Byeolbyeol Couple would always go back to our neighborhood to eat.) I get it, this chef's restaurant and that chef's restaurant are famous, but we're already broke—and we can't spend over ₩100,000 every time we go back and forth to plan a weddingㅠㅠ

But recently, we finally found a great-value restaurant in Cheongdam!!! I recommend Cheongdam Kkatsu (청담까츠), Gangnam-gu Office Station Branch, one of those rare Cheongdam spots where you can get a filling, delicious meal in the ₩10,000 range.

The space is roomy and there are lots of two-person tables, so it looked great for office workers having lunch alone too~

There are also group tables divided off for privacy, so I recommend it for plans with your parents too! When you're visiting with your parents for wedding hanbok fittings and such, it's a nice spot for a light meal that isn't overly fancy.

Honestly, everything looked delicious, and I was especially curious about their signature kimchi stew plus pork cutlet!!! But our goal was to find a great-value place in Cheongdam, so we picked two dishes that would let us judge the restaurant's overall cooking.

When you visit a good restaurant, you have to try the fundamentals first.

We tried Cheongdam Kkatsu's pride and joy: the pork loin cutlet.

And my verdict is... drumroll

This is insane... There really is a reason it's a great restaurant!

It was seriously, seriously delicious. Thick, crisp on the outside and moist inside—when the foundational dish is this good, your trust in the place shoots right up.

Next was Byeolbyeol Couple's choice because we wanted salmon.

There was lots of salmon and the vegetables were fresh, with a sweet-and-tangy flavor that really whetted the appetite!

The salmon roe popped nicely too, making the flavors richer. Confirmed: this is a restaurant that does salmon and seafood well too!!

Officially approved as a great-value Cheongdam restaurant!

The menu is seriously so extensive and varied that I'm going to keep coming here whenever I visit Cheongdam haha (I'm curious about the kimchi stew and cutlet set, and the salmon marinated-in-soy-sauce rice bowlㅠㅠ)

I originally went as part of a review group while looking for a good-value Cheongdam place, intending to keep going back if it was good—and I was completely satisfied. It was filling and delicious at a reasonable price.
