As a Yeouido office worker, I went looking for somewhere clean near Saetgang Station where I could grab a light beer after work, and ended up at Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch.
Yeouido and Saetgang have tons of izakayas since there are so many office workers around for after-work dinners and gatherings, but this time I wanted somewhere I could eat skewers and drink without it being too loud or chaotic!!
Bottom line up front: they had a wide variety of skewers plus Nagasaki jjamppong, so it worked well as both dinner and a beer session!!
Where is Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch, and what is it like inside?
Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch is 289m from Exit 1 of Saetgang Station, open 17:00–01:30 (last order 00:30). There are two entrances — one leading into the building and one facing the parking lot side that goes to the main door — so make sure you find the right one!!
Walking in, the whole place had a clean izakaya feel!
As soon as I sat down at the counter (dachi) seats, I could see skewers and grilled fish being cooked right in front of me, which was pretty cool.
And being able to see the fresh ingredients and skewers laid out right at the counter gave the place a nice vibe, I really liked it.
It felt like a place you could comfortably drop into with coworkers after work — not too formal, more of a relaxed spot to chat and have a drink!

The menu had pretty much everything an izakaya would have — from aged sashimi to skewers, rice dishes, noodles, and soups.
After ordering, they brought out two fried eggs as a basic side dish — how did they know I love eggs, hahaha.
What comes in the 11-kind, 13-piece mixed skewer platter?
The mixed skewer set with 11 kinds and 13 pieces is ₩24,000, and it comes with everything from chicken heart, shrimp, and ginkgo nuts to chicken-bacon-rice cake skewers and cherry tomato-bacon skewers. There were so many menu options I felt decision paralysis coming on, but I've learned that ordering the mixed platter is basically izakaya etiquette, so I went with that to try a little of everything!!
With chicken heart, shrimp, ginkgo nuts, chicken-bacon-rice cake, and more all in one set, I got to try a nice variety of skewers, which was great.
The bacon-wrapped skewers in particular went really well with beer, and there were also classic drinking-snack items like ginkgo nuts and chicken heart, so it was fun picking through them one by one.
What really stood out about Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch was that you don't just eat the skewers — you can watch them being grilled right in front of you.
Nagasaki jjamppong for 21,000 won: how big is it and how is the broth?
The Nagasaki jjamppong is ₩21,000, and the portion was more filling than I expected. I ordered it because eating only skewers felt like something was missing — I wanted a soup.
It comes with vegetables, mussels, and shrimp, and the noodles seemed plumper and chewier than in a regular jjamppong.
The broth was on the rich side, so it was great for spooning up between sips of beer.
When you're eating nothing but grilled skewers, you start craving something with broth, and the Nagasaki jjamppong really filled that role well!!
If you're visiting as a pair, I think ordering one skewer set plus a Nagasaki jjamppong to share would work out nicely too.
So if you're looking for a spot for a Yeouido office gathering, or want to handle both dinner and drinks after work near Saetgang, give this place a try (I need to come back and try other menu items next time!!)

If you're near Saetgang Station or Yeouido Station looking for a quiet, clean izakaya vibe, I'd recommend Robadayakki Sodam.
Especially at the counter seats, watching the skewers and grilled fish being cooked right there was genuinely fun.
If you're looking for a spot to gather with coworkers around Yeouido or Saetgang, it had a nice atmosphere for dinner and a drink without things getting too heavy!!
On a day when I wanted a cold draft beer and skewers after work, this was a pretty satisfying visit!!
