Wood-fired pizza near Hapjeong Station: Pizzeria O
In short
Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station is a wood-fired pizza restaurant about a 3–4 minute walk from Exit 2 of Hapjeong Station in Mapo, Seoul. My husband and I had the Burratina pizza and ragù pasta; the chewy crust and fresh-tasting cheese worked well with the rich sauce, though there are few tables and no dedicated parking.

My husband and I were out in Hapjeong over the weekend and stopped by Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station (핏제리아오 합정역점) to have pizza and pasta together. This time, we chose the Burratina pizza and ragù pasta.

How far is it from Hapjeong Station, and is parking available?
It took about 3–4 minutes to walk from Exit 2 of Hapjeong Station. It was an easy distance to reach by public transportation.

A short way into an alley from the main road, I found the small restaurant with its blue sign. The address is 14-5 Yanghwa-ro 11-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea (서울 마포구 양화로11길 14-5 1층). There is no dedicated parking, so if you visit by car, it would be best to look up nearby paid parking in advance.

What were the seating and atmosphere like for two?
The interior was small and cozy. With mostly tables for two and four, it seemed suited to a date or a meal with a friend.

There were not many tables. Since reservations are available, I felt it would be better to reserve for the dinner rush. High chairs are available and groups can dine here, while the restroom is unisex.

They bake house-fermented dough in a wood-fired oven. From our table, I could also see the kitchen.

What did we order, and how much was it?
Along with wood-fired pizza, there were pasta, salads, and side dishes. Pizza choices included salmon pizza; O' Pizza with ricotta, arugula, and a house wine sauce; star-shaped Stella pizza; Margherita Bufala; and quattro formaggi. I still remember the fresh flavor of the O' Pizza I had before.

This time, the two of us ordered one pizza, one pasta, and two Zero Cokes. The prices recorded in the original post are below.
- Burratina ₩28,900
- Ragù pasta ₩29,900
- Zero Coke ₩3,000 × 2
The table was neatly set, with pickles and jalapeños served as standard.

Our food arrived without a long wait. Service was quick, and the staff were kind.

How were the cheese and crust on the Burratina pizza?
Burratina is a basic Margherita pizza topped with a whole burrata cheese.

I split open the burrata in the center and spread it across the pizza. The nutty, creamy cheese went well with the bright flavor of the tomato sauce.

The wood-fired crust was slightly crisp around the edge and chewy inside. The texture of the dough, not just the toppings, stayed with me.
What did the ragù pasta taste like?
The ragù pasta had thick noodles generously coated in a rich ragù sauce with plenty of meat.

It tasted as though the sauce had been simmered for a long time, with savory meat and deep tomato flavor. The noodles themselves were thick, making them satisfying to chew with the sauce.

Was one pizza and one pasta enough for two?
The Burratina was soft and bright, while the ragù pasta was rich and hearty. Alternating between the two made for a good pairing.

For the two of us, one pizza and one pasta was the right amount for dinner. It was a meal I would think of when wanting wood-fired pizza and pasta together in Hapjeong.

What are the opening and break times?
According to the original post, hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 21:30, with last orders at 20:30. Weekday break time is 15:00–17:00, and the restaurant is regularly closed every Monday.
