Chocolate scone takeout at a Seoul Station sandwich café: Dance Dance

Dance Dance Dance is right in front of Seoul Station, so it's super easy to get to, and on days when I have a bit of extra time, it's nice to pack food slowly and enjoy something healthy and filling before hopping on a train.

Even in the middle of a busy day, it feels like I'm properly taking care of a meal, and eating something prepared with care just puts me in a better mood.

Today I went to Dance Dance Dance in Grand Central, right in front of Seoul Station.

It's a great place to stop by near Seoul Station if you're looking for a satisfying meal that's not too heavy, or if you want a healthy-feeling menu paired with a simple dessert. Everything I ate today really suited my taste overall haha!

Where is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station, and what is the café like?

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is on B3 of Grand Central, right in front of Seoul Station. Being on B3, I wondered at first where exactly it would be, but once I found it, the space was bigger than I expected with plenty of seats, so it was comfortable to use at a relaxed pace. It had a good atmosphere for eating a meal or taking a quick break near Seoul Station.

Here's what I ate today. I had the cream of mushroom soup right away and packed the rest to go haha!

How does the cream of mushroom soup taste?

The mushroom soup was warm and smooth, so it was easy to eat without feeling heavy. I could really taste that clean, nutty flavor that's distinctive of mushrooms, and since it wasn't overly seasoned, I personally liked it even more. It was a great taste for when you're in the mood for something clean and healthy-feeling, like these days.

The sandwich takeout box: good enough to give as a gift

Getting a sandwich packaged so nicely put me in a good mood even before eating it. It's carefully placed in a clean, pretty box, so it's really great as a gift, and also perfect for packing as lunch to take with you.

When even a single sandwich is prepared this beautifully and with this much care, it lifts the mood of whoever receives it too. A simple lunch felt like a special meal, which was satisfying. I'd definitely want to use this place again if I ever need to pack a gift or a lunch to go!

Chicken breast salad sandwich, switched to ciabatta

I packed the chicken breast salad sandwich with the bread swapped to ciabatta, since I figured ciabatta would be softer than baguette. With two pieces, it seemed like it would be filling enough as a full meal, and the packaging was neat and easy to carry.

The chicken and vegetables were fairly light overall, so I could eat it without feeling weighed down, and it wasn't overly seasoned or greasy, which I liked. I personally love this kind of clean flavor, so it was satisfying.

Chocolate scone as a snack at home

Lastly, I also packed a chocolate scone, and this was tasty too. It had chocolate in it so there was sweetness, but rather than being overly sweet, I could taste the scone's own distinctive lightness alongside it, which seemed like it would go well with coffee or tea. I didn't eat it right away and packed it to go, and it was also great to eat as a snack at home 😍

Is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station worth a stop before your train?

Being right in front of Seoul Station in Grand Central made it easy to access, and even though the store is on B3, the space felt open and spacious with plenty of seats, so it didn't feel too cramped even with a few people around. It seemed like a good place to eat alone or grab something quick, and also convenient for packing food to take with you.

Today I ate the mushroom soup in-store, swapped the chicken breast salad sandwich to ciabatta and packed it, and packed a chocolate scone too — each menu item had a slightly different feel, so there was fun in picking and choosing. Overall, I think this place would satisfy anyone who likes clean, light flavors.
