I visited during lunchtime, and as soon as I ordered, a waiting line had already formed — it seemed to be famous as a hot spot in Sintanjin, Daejeon. Since the interior is spacious, it seemed like a great place for family gatherings, group meetings, or company dinners in Sintanjin, Daejeon.

There were also baby chairs, so I'd recommend it as a good place to visit with kids in Sintanjin, Daejeon.

What's on the self-bar?

There was a self-bar on one side like this, and it was so well stocked that you could fill up on a whole meal just from the self-bar alone. From bibimbap ingredients to japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried snacks, and pork cutlet — all the good stuff was there.

They set the side dishes down first like this by default, and we could choose between soup, white rice, or brown rice — we went with brown rice.

Also, we brought back a generous amount of food from the self-bar like this and ate it.

Clay-oven pork set, 16,000 won: how it tastes

The pork set cooked in the clay oven came out.

The stir-fried pork was grilled nice and crisp and tasted great, and it came topped with shredded green onion, which had good texture and flavor too.

We brought over tofu doenjang (soybean paste) from the self-bar and wrapped it into lettuce wraps like this, and it was a satisfying, full-mouth bite.

The mackerel also came out whole, as a big single fish, grilled nicely in the clay oven, and the seasoning was just right.
