Gangnam poke restaurant with chili garlic mayo seafood poke: Ola Poke
In short
Ola Poke Gangnam is a poke and salad restaurant on the basement floor of a building near Exit 4 of Gangnam Station in Seoul. At Ola Poke Gangnam the seafood poke came with chili garlic mayo and the Super Protein poke with sriracha mayo, both on a soba noodle base, plus a spicy vegan tomato soup known as witch soup. The seafood poke of octopus, scallop and flying fish roe with chili garlic mayo tasted better than expected and is worth ordering again.

Inside Ola Poke Gangnam: seating built for solo diners
The interior seating at Ola Poke Gangnam was optimal for solo dining. It seems like a great spot for Gangnam office workers.

Perfect for solo dining... 🫠

Ola Poke menu and how to pick your base
Ola Poke's [BEST] menu items are garlic shrimp poke, Super Protein poke, steak poke, and buldak salmon poke. Choose a base of soba noodles / salad / oat brown rice, and you can even choose your preferred ratio.
Even the recommended sauces are thoughtfully done 😳 calories / nutrition info too.

You can order via kiosk (with detailed customization).

There's a custom salad/poke option so you can build exactly what you want, plus set combos too ••

Super Protein poke (sriracha mayo) / Seafood poke (chili garlic mayo)

Seafood poke with chili garlic mayo: the combo that belongs on the best-seller list
The seafood poke at Ola Poke Gangnam — this was too delicious... feels like it should be on the best menu.
Whoever made this chili mayo really knows their sauces... the sauce was so appealing. It felt like it had a touch of chogochujang (vinegared red pepper paste), which I thought paired really well with seafood like octopus and shrimp.

The octopus was perfectly chewy and delicious, and with scallop, flying fish roe, shrimp and the rest of the seafood combo, this was such a tasty poke. It felt like an uncommon combination and sauce pairing, so I'd definitely recommend it. I want to order this exact combo (seafood poke + chili mayo sauce) again.

What the soba noodle base is like
Soba noodles... 🤍 no need for many words, it's clean and delicious. A healthy taste with a noticeably high buckwheat content.

What goes into the Super Protein poke
Ola Poke's Super Protein poke comes with a variety of toppings including salmon, avocado, and chicken breast 🖤 It also has seaweed (miyeok) and flying fish roe for extra flavor ••
The vegetables were extremely fresh. Fresh enough that I felt they'd be delicious even eaten alone.

Fresh salmon. Delicious even eaten plain, and (since it's fresh) dipping it in sriracha mayo... made it even tastier...

I wasn't really craving chicken breast, but this chicken breast was surprisingly delicious. Chicken breast can taste really different depending on the place, you know... Ola Poke's chicken breast was genuinely good chicken breast. It's not that it was super tender or anything, but there was no off-putting texture and something about the pepper seasoning made it so I kept saying it was delicious.
Avocado 💚 no need for many words, fresh and delicious (perfectly ripe).

.. 🖤 I recommend the soba noodle base .. 🤍

Spicy vegan tomato soup (witch soup): one bowl is enough for two
Ola Poke Gangnam's spicy vegan tomato soup, also called witch soup, is healthy but has a bold, punchy flavor.

Well-cooked carrots and onions go into it. It's flavorful in that punchy way, so it would be perfect for two people to share one!

They even have mouthwash, hair ties, and tea ready to go, and the staff were very kind.
Final verdict on Ola Poke Gangnam
I liked how fresh the poke menu lineup felt at Ola Poke Gangnam, and the seafood poke in particular tasted even better than I expected. Fresh ingredients, delicious sauce, and thoughtfully built combinations — a flavor I want to eat again!
The interior at Ola Poke Gangnam is also clean and the vibe is ideal for solo dining, so I'd recommend it even more.
