Nowon buffet with sushi, rolls, and spacious group seating: Kuu Kuu

It had been a while since I’d eaten my fill of everything from sushi to all kinds of other food, so I visited Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch (쿠우쿠우 노원점) 🍣🤍 There were so many choices that I almost couldn’t decide what to eat, but that was part of the fun—picking things one by one, haha. Let’s get right into my feast of Japanese, Western, Chinese, Korean food, and desserts ᰔᩚ

We reserved through Naver before visiting, but Catchtable bookings are available too! You can get in without waiting around at the restaurant for ages, so if you’re planning a visit, I recommend joining the waitlist on Catchtable in advance ♡

Wide Aisles and Seating for Groups

At a buffet, you have to go back and forth for food several times, but the aisles were fairly wide, so getting around wasn’t especially inconvenient.

There was plenty of space between tables too, with everything from tables ideal for two to four people to seating for larger groups. Such a great spot for a family gathering in Nowon~ ✨

Sushi to Korean Food: Choose What You Like

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch really did have an amazing variety of food 👀 From Japanese dishes like sushi and rolls to Western dishes such as pasta and pizza, plus Chinese and Korean food, there was so much to enjoy in one place. It seemed like a great place to visit with friends who have different tastes, since everyone can choose exactly what they want.

Sushi and Roll Station

When you think of Kuu Kuu, you can’t leave out the sushi 🍣 The sushi station had such a huge variety, so I took a lap and picked out each piece I wanted! There were familiar favorites like salmon and flounder, along with shrimp, inari sushi, egg, and plenty of other options to suit different tastes. Rolls were available too, so sushi alone let me try lots of different flavors.

Soft Drinks and Slushies

There was a separate drink station too 🥤 From fizzy drinks like cola and cider to refreshing slushies, there were lots of choices! I could have as much soda as I wanted with my meal, and the slushies went really well with dessert~

The salad station had fresh vegetables, all kinds of salads, and plenty of ingredients that were nice to have on the side. It was great for something light before the main dishes, or for a fresh bite in between! It wasn’t all heavy dishes like sushi and fried food—there was a good selection of salads to choose from as well ◡̈♡

Dippin’ Dots and a Dessert Finish

There were several flavors of Dippin’ Dots too, so I could pick whichever one I wanted 🍦🤍

And finally, the can’t-miss dessert station 🍰🤍 There were sweet treats like cake, pudding, and ice cream, as well as fruit! Even after a filling meal, it was nice to finish with refreshing fruit and make room for something sweet too, haha. A buffet meal doesn’t feel complete until you’ve had dessert ෆ

Free Unlimited Draft Beer

One of the best points was the unlimited draft beer! 🍺 At Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, draft beer is free and unlimited, so I think beer lovers would be super happy, haha.

Overall, Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch was a Nowon sushi buffet with such a wide range of food that it was easy to choose according to my mood, from Japanese and Western food to Chinese and Korean dishes 🍣🤍 There were lots of desserts and fruit, varied drinks, and even unlimited draft beer, which made it even more satisfying, haha. It’s great for a family meal or a visit with a big group of friends, and if you’re like me and want to eat a little bit of everything, you won’t regret coming..! I think I’ll come back next time I’m craving a hearty meal ◡̈♡
