Where is Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch, and what are its hours?

Hi everyone :-) On Wednesday I went swimming in Cheonan and had lunch, and while wondering where to grab coffee afterward, I heard there was a café in Sinbu-dong selling really good baked goods, so I went to check it out! It's located in the Sinbu-dong food street across from the Cheonan Bus Terminal.

It's a place selling French baked goods and bakery items like flan, canelé, and financiers, and when I visited after weekday lunch hours the café was so popular that barely any tables were left. I imagine you'd need to arrive even earlier on weekends, and both the desserts and coffee were genuinely, genuinely delicious — I could see why it's so hot right now!

That said, the café points you toward Sinbu Public Parking Lot No. 4 right next door, but it's really small and can fill up. If that happens, you'll need to use another parking lot nearby, so keep that in mind!

The gray storefront and terrace at Brewers Coffee on a 2pm weekday

Brewers Coffee is in a building with a gray exterior that looks really clean, and next to it there's an outdoor terrace. A big awning casts shade over it, but since the weather wasn't quite outdoor-seating season yet, the tables and chairs weren't set up.

This outdoor terrace looks like the perfect spot to sit outside in the cool spring or fall air and enjoy a cup of coffee with the atmosphere :-D

The inside wasn't loud at all — it had a comfortable atmosphere with a moderate level of conversation. I was surprised how many people were there even at 2pm on a weekday.

The lineup: 7 financiers and 4 canelés at Brewers Coffee

There were so many delicious-looking financiers and canelés that I had a hard time choosing.

<Financier lineup> Plain / apple earl grey / butter rice cake / salted caramel / salted chocolate / Dubai chocolate / vanilla macadamia. That's 7 kinds of financiers. Pretty sweet lineup, right? I don't usually like sweet stuff, but I think baked goods have to be sweet to be good. I can't stand sugary candy, but I'm all in on sweet financiers haha.

<Canelé lineup> Vanilla / matcha ganache / earl grey / pistachio. Aside from vanilla, the lineup has the distinct natural flavor and aroma of each ingredient — matcha, earl grey, pistachio — really coming through, so I imagine preferences would be strongly divided depending on taste.

I ordered three things: pistachio canelé, apple earl grey financier, and pecan espresso madeleine. I was curious about the other desserts too, but I held myself back :-)

What does 041 coffee taste like next to the iced americano?

For coffee, I got an iced americano and the 041 coffee.

The iced americano seemed dark roasted. It had no sourness — clean, nutty, and rich, which was really appealing. There was no burnt taste, and thanks to the proper roasting, it had a subtle, heavy body.

041 coffee is a latte made with walnut-flavored milk topped with a strong shot. It has a walnut aroma somewhat like the snack Hodu-maru, sweetness, and bitter espresso flavor all coming together.

I was told to drink it after the espresso had fully settled — that way, I'd taste the sweetness and nutty richness better, they explained.

Takeout packaging and gift boxes at Brewers Coffee

I got the leftover desserts packed to go, and in that case they neatly put everything in a paper bag.

For gift wrapping, there's a service that packs your order into an elegant black box. The prices are listed above the showcase. There are three options: a madeleine gift box, a financier gift box, and a mixed gift box. Prices are in the ₩20,000s range. This elegant packaging seems useful for housewarmings or gifts for someone!

Brewers Coffee, this delicious and pleasant Sinbu-dong café, welcomes kids and pets. With so many households having pets these days, being able to bring them along to a café is a real plus!

Verdict: desserts and coffee brought to your table

Brewers Coffee in Sinbu-dong is a café where both the desserts and coffee are delicious. There's nothing especially trendy about the desserts, but the French baked goods lineup and prices are satisfying enough that anyone who loves baked treats would seek it out :-)

It's a shame parking around this neighborhood is a bit tricky. If you're lucky, you can park at the public lot; if not, just park a little further away and walk over :-)

After ordering, they brought the desserts and coffee straight to my table, and when I left, it seemed like they'd clear things up if I just left them there. Lately I've been going to cafés with buzzers or self-service, so experiencing this kind of service again felt genuinely nice haha. The staff were kind too, and it's a café I'd love to visit again next time I'm craving baked goods. If you're looking for a café in Sinbu-dong, highly recommend it!
