Songdo salt bread café before the weekend 2 p.m. bake: Cozy Bear

A brand-new café in Songdo!!! I visited 'Cozy Bear' 🧸 It's a bakery café in Songdo, Incheon where you can try lots of different kinds of salt bread (a buttery, salt-topped roll) 🥐 With so many varieties and tasty coffee too, if you're a bread lover you have to stop by...! Here's my honest review after eating there myself 🤎

Cozy Bear Songdo location and opening hours

Cozy Bear is at 160-19 Haedoji-ro, 1st floor, units 101 and 102, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and it's open daily 09:00 - 20:00. It's only about 30 seconds on foot from Songdo Sikjajae Mart (a grocery mart), so it's easy to find!

What salt bread is on the Cozy Bear menu?

Cozy Bear has a huge range, from plain salt bread to garlic, potato, castella salt bread and ang-butter (red bean paste with butter), but when I went, more of them were sold out T_T I wanted to try everything... And the red bean for the ang-butter is homemade?! Respect to the owner, seriously. Phew, phew! Being able to pick by flavor is such a happy dilemma for a bread lover, haha

I really wanted to try the castella salt bread too 🥹 but sadly it was already sold out when I visited T_T Next time I'll definitely try it!

When does Cozy Bear's salt bread come out?

Cozy Bear bakes salt bread at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., using French fermented butter and Guérande sea salt, and apparently makes a set quantity each day! I got there before 2 p.m. on a weekend and it was already pretty crowded inside!!! It may close early once the day's batch sells out, so keep that in mind if you're planning a visit, haha

What I ordered on a weekend afternoon

• Garlic salt bread
• Potato salt bread
• Americano (iced)
• Café latte (hot)

Before 2 p.m. on the weekend, only potato and garlic salt bread were left, so I didn't have to agonize and could just pick, haha

If you love salt bread, try more than the basic one and sample different flavors to find your favorite!

How do Cozy Bear's Americano and café latte taste?

I ordered an iced Americano at Cozy Bear~~ 😖 You can't eat bread without coffee~~! Nutty coffee with tasty salt bread made me so happy 🤎

I was curious about the latte too, so I stole a sip, haha. It was nutty and smooth, so good! It's not just the salt bread that's varied, you can enjoy great coffee along with it, which I loved 🥰

This is the Cozy Bear potato salt bread. It feels hearty, so I think it would work great as a quick meal replacement too!!!

When I cut the garlic salt bread in half, there was cream inside!! Crisp outside, soft inside, and the garlic savoriness was amazing, so delicious T_T If you like garlic bread, definitely try the garlic salt bread too 💕

Inside Cozy Bear, the scent of butter wafts around and it's warm and cozy, a nice place to take a little break with bread and coffee!!

Right as I was leaving, the 2 p.m. bread was put out on display!! T_T Plenty of people were eating in, and plenty were taking salt bread to go 👀 I guess everyone knows a great salt bread spot when they see one, haha. Next time I'll try again for the castella salt bread I missed, lol

Songdo salt bread café Cozy Bear: would I go back?

On the weekend the café was crowded inside and lots of people were getting takeout, so I could really feel how popular it is... Best of all, I loved enjoying coffee and salt bread together in a cozy atmosphere!

Not getting to try the castella salt bread left me with a reason to come back, lol. If you're looking for a great salt bread spot in Songdo, Cozy Bear, with its many kinds of salt bread, is worth a visit 🧸🤎 Next time, castella salt bread for sure 💛
