Honestly, eating out with my niece is usually kind of stressful 🥲 you need a seat for the baby and you have to bring separate food .. but here I didn't have to worry about any of that

A Korean BBQ where the smell doesn't stick to your clothes

The inside is totally clean the first thing you notice walking in is inevitably the interior, and it was clean, which I loved but it's really, genuinely clean here the tables and the grill plates were gleaming and the floor didn't feel greasy at all no musty BBQ-place smell either must be good ventilation because the smell didn't stick to my clothes much I checked after leaving and was like "huh? no smell?" — surprised

Kid-friendly zone: free baby hayashi rice at Wanbeoljip

And this place is genuinely a kids-friendly zone first, a baby chair is already set up and they bring baby dishware too but that's not all there's a hayashi rice for babies and it comes free!! 🍛💗

I didn't expect much since it was free, but the quality is genuinely good rich color right from the start seasoned mild, tailored for babies meat and veggies chopped up small 🥕 my niece picked up her spoon the moment she sat down and just ate it like it was her own regular meal 🧸 while we grilled the meat, she quietly finished the whole bowl by herself lol

Only people who've actually taken a baby out to eat know this, but having a separate meal just for the baby is such a relief for the adults .. 😌 thanks to that I got to eat my meat comfortably too 💕🎀

Okay, now the main event let's talk about the meat it was genuinely delicious

The moment the meat arrived the vivid color and glossy sheen were obvious right away ✨ anyone could tell it was good quality

It had just the right thickness too, so the balance of a crisp outside and a moist inside was great 🔥 the kind where juice bursts out when you chew

Meat served fully grilled at the table

No need to grill it yourself, it comes already cooked so you can eat right away when you're watching a niece, two hands aren't enough to grill meat too, so you have no idea how convenient this is .. 🥲

Side dishes and doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew)

The side dishes were the best too 🥬🎀

Honestly when I go to a BBQ place the banchan included is part of what decides if it's a real find or not and here every side dish was delicious 💗

I kept refilling and eating lol eaten with the meat it cuts the greasiness and cleanses your palate 🌿 the side dish bowls come out spotless too 🤍 when I asked for a refill they brought it right away so there was no need to feel awkward about it 🩰 you know that not many Kyungsung University restaurants that are BBQ places take this much care with the side dishes .. 👀

The doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) is really, really good too! 🍚✨ even full, I kept eating more lol
