Anguk pizza restaurant for a huge Caesar salad, 2-person lunch: Low
In short
Low Five Anguk is an American-style pizza and pasta restaurant on Bukchon-ro near Anguk Station, Jongno, Seoul. After seeing the Do Ho Suh exhibit at the MMCA, the writer used Catch Table remote waiting to get a table and shared a classic Caesar salad, alfredo cream pasta, and a half-and-half pizza (corn & hot pepperoni) between two people — the portions were so big two pizza slices went home in a box. A great pick for a hungry weekday lunch after a museum visit.

Inside Low Five Anguk

Low Five Anguk, the pizza and pasta place everyone talks about near Anguk Station in Bukchon — the inside felt cozy and warm, with that hip American vibe going on! So totally my style (´ᴗ ·̫ ᴗ`)💭💕
It was a rainy weekday lunch, and I was surprised the place was already packed with customers! I figured I'd found the right place haha. I'd been eyeing Catch Table waiting from 11:40am while I was still walking around the Do Ho Suh exhibit at the MMCA lol.

At Low Five Anguk you order easily just by scanning the QR code stuck on the table.

The kitchen at Low Five Anguk felt like an open kitchen, and at a glance it looked super clean and tidy — passed the test haha.

There's a self-service bar in the middle of the restaurant with everything from hot sauce to wet wipes, cutlery, and water — nice that you can help yourself to whatever you need :)
Menu at Low Five Anguk and what was sold out

Let me introduce the menu at Low Five Anguk! Living up to its reputation as a pizza spot near Anguk Station, every pizza looked delicious haha. There's corn, hot chili potato, hot pepperoni, taco pizza, and a half-and-half option so you can enjoy two flavors at once.
The pasta lineup had a day-limited classic lasagna and alfredo cream pasta, plus hot pot fettuccine pasta, vongole, truffle cream, garden salad, and shrimp spicy rigatoni — so many options!! And for sides there's (avocado) kimchi fried rice and classic Caesar salad.
Seems like the kimchi fried rice must be really popular — it was around 12:25pm and kimchi fried rice was already sold out, and so was the limited classic lasagna!!

And they had a good variety of beer and wine too, great for pairing with the pizza and pasta!
A salad, pizza, and pasta ordered as 2 people, 3 dishes
We ordered classic Caesar salad, alfredo cream pasta, and a half-and-half pizza (corn & hot pepperoni)! Both my friend and I had a light breakfast and then walked around a lot at the Do Ho Suh exhibit, so we were starving by lunch — ended up ordering three dishes for two people lol.

Classic Caesar salad, ₩12,000, a mountain of a portion
I was seriously hungry, so I was glad the salad came out fast! But even though the classic Caesar salad is ₩12,000, the portion was huge. The salad literally came piled up like a mountain lol. They squeeze a lightly grilled lemon over it for extra aroma and flavor! The combo of green vegetables and cheese was so good, it'd been a while since I had such a tasty salad haha.

Half-and-half pizza: corn & hot pepperoni
At Low Five Anguk, we were curbing our hunger with the delicious Caesar salad when the pizza came out fast too! Isn't the Low Five pizza's look amazing?! Especially the visual of a whole corn cob piled on top — even looking back at the photo now makes my mouth water haha.

At Low Five Anguk, here's a close-up of the corn pizza, captured all pretty. Doesn't it look so appetizing ㅠㅠ It tastes even more moving once you take a bite. I've been eating chicken breast every day for my diet lately, and cheating with corn pizza + hot pepperoni pizza at Low Five felt like sheer, grateful tears ( ɵ̥̥ ˑ̫ ɵ̥̥)
The combination of Low Five's own chewy pizza dough, well-seasoned and well-grilled corn and pepperoni, plus their signature sauce on top of the dough was seriously the best! You really have to try this — I can't forget the savory flavor of that first bite ( ͒ ́ඉ .̫ ඉ ̀ ͒)

Alfredo cream pasta topped with whole bacon
And then the appetizing alfredo cream pasta topped with whole bacon! The savory flavor of the cream sauce, made with fresh cream and cheese, was really good :) The noodle texture matched the cream sauce well too — one bite after another, this magnetic alfredo cream pasta I couldn't stop reaching for lol.
There was a lot of whole bacon and sliced bacon in it, which gave good chewy texture and seemed to balance out the cream pasta so it wasn't too rich!
Too much food to finish, boxed leftovers, lasagna next time
Everything was genuinely delicious, but every dish had such a huge portion that we left really full,, we ended up boxing two leftover slices of pizza lol. Next time I want to bring my husband and definitely try the lasagna!! It had been a while since my last trip into Seoul, and finding a great restaurant near Anguk Station made me happy lol.
If you're looking for a great restaurant near Anguk Station, a Bukchon pasta spot, or a Bukchon pizza place, I recommend Low Five Anguk :)
