Orange bleached hair to khaki ash brown at Chamer, Dongnae hair salon

I got an ash brown tone-down dye at Chamer, a hair salon in Dongnae 🤎 I've been wanting to change my hair color lately and was browsing hair photos, and I fell in love at first sight with Chamer's photos, so I decided to dye my hair here this time!

My hair had gotten very light, so this time I wanted to tone it down overall and switch to a calm color. I was really happy with the finished look, so this is a place I'm very satisfied with :)

Before choosing a color, Chamer looked carefully at my current hair condition, and they recommended an ash brown that cancels the orange with khaki shades. What I wanted this time was a natural lower tone without any bright feel. My hair had a lot of orange coming through, so rather than just dyeing it darker, it was important to neutralize the orange and still get a pretty tone-down color.

They checked my hair condition carefully before deciding and explained in detail which colors would work. Considering both the look I wanted and my hair's current state, the color they recommended was ash brown!

Along with the dye, I also got a layered cut from the head stylist (siljang), who decided where to place the layers by looking at my face shape, head shape and hair type. She checked everything one by one, from face shape to head shape to hair texture, and cut detailed layers to suit my hair, which I was really happy with. It didn't feel like just trimming the length: she explained where layers would look prettiest for my face shape, and cut so the hair falls naturally for my hair type, so the finish is clearly different.

With the ash brown color and the layered cut finished together, the whole vibe looks much lighter and more polished, so I really love this hairstyle :)

Can 3-level bleached hair go ash brown without more bleach?

At Chamer, my hair that had split into 3 color levels came out as an ash brown that blends naturally, without re-bleaching. ✨ Without bleaching, and it came out this pretty? Honestly, my hair was in a pretty tricky state for dyeing.

I had been growing out hair I bleached before, starting from the crown, so my hair was different layer by layer. The color was split into roughly 3 levels. So I worried the dye might come out different in each section. But the result was far more satisfying than I expected!

Chamer has a separate hair spa area, and the shampoo chair is a massage bed where you lie down. 🧖🏻‍♀️ Personally, the hair care was the part I liked most. With a hair spa space set aside inside the salon, I could get cozy care, and they treated my hair according to its current condition, from shampoo to treatment to essence.

The shampoo area was the most amazing part. At most salons you tilt your neck back to get your hair washed, but at Chamer the shampoo chair is a full massage bed, so I could lie down and relax while getting a massage. With the massage and scalp pressure on top, the fatigue built up from dyeing just melted away!

Moisture care is included with dyeing or perms, so it isn't just a color service and done; I got the care my hair needed too. My hair has been very dry and frizzy lately and I was worried, but it didn't get too rough even after dyeing, which made me even happier.

Toning down bleached hair in Dongnae or Oncheon-dong: is Chamer worth it?

🤎 Doing a tone-down dye for the first time in a while, my biggest worry was that my existing hair color was split into several levels. Even so, Chamer matched the overall color naturally without bleaching, and I was really satisfied.

Especially, just as I wanted, the orange was neutralized and it finished as an ash brown that's calm but not too heavy, which I loved. The result came out prettier than I'd hoped, so it was a great day.
