Songdo cookie gift café with pistachio ganache: Standard Square
In short
Standard Square is a handmade cookie and dessert café on the ground floor of World Mark Prugio in Songdo, Yeonsu, Incheon. On a Songdo date with her husband, the writer had a decaf café latte (₩5,700 plus ₩500 for decaf), a matcha einspänner (₩6,800) and pistachio ganache and salted peanut butter cookies (₩4,700 each), which were dense yet moist, in a white-and-blue café with floor-to-ceiling windows that felt easy to relax in. For cookie gifts or a date café with a nice atmosphere in Songdo, Standard Square is a recommended pick.

My husband and I went on a date to Songdo in Incheon, and after shopping we were looking for a dessert café to rest in. We found a place with a nice atmosphere where the drinks and cookies looked delicious too, so we dropped in. Let me introduce Standard Square: a stylish space that's great for chatting, with really tasty moist handmade cookies.
Where is Standard Square, and what are the hours and parking?
Standard Square is at World Mark Prugio, Building 101, Units 101-102, 50 Keonbensia-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and it's open every day from 09:00 to 22:00. You can park in the underground car park of World Mark Prugio Complex 1, and the café will register your car for you :)
The atmosphere at Standard Square in Songdo
The café is decorated in white and blue, a modern, stylish space. There are lots of well-kept, lush green plants here and there, which adds some freshness, so it was a Songdo café where I felt happy staying a while.

It's good for chatting with a partner or friends, and there were students studying as well as people who brought laptops to do some light work. The outer wall is all big windows, so you get plenty of natural light, which I loved.

The props, which carry the stylish feel of "Standard Square", are nicely arranged too, so it felt like being at a pop-up in Seongsu-dong.

And fittingly for a top cookie spot in Incheon, they were running a cookie popularity vote :D Just going by looks I wanted to try every one, so you might use the vote as a guide when you buy.

Standard Square uses beans it roasts itself and also sells several kinds of beans. Each one has a good description, so if you love coffee, I think it's worth trying a cup and picking up some beans too.

The space goes quite far back inside and it's a comfy place to rest, so we took a seat in the back :) Overall it's a stylish, pretty café, and I'd recommend it as a Songdo date spot too.
What cookies and drinks does Standard Square sell?

Standard Square is known as a dessert café, and it really had a wide range of cookies. All the desserts are baked in-house, and they say they use organic flour, grade-1 antibiotic-free eggs, French chocolate and fresh cream, and organic sugar, so the desserts look after both taste and health.

- Oreo s'more
- Lotus s'more
- Walnut dark chocolate
- Matcha macadamia
- Salted peanut butter
- Caramel pecan
- Hazelnut dark chocolate
- Red velvet cream cheese
- Blueberry crumble
- Dwaejibar (Korean strawberry-chocolate ice bar flavor)
- Black sesame
- Pistachio ganache
There's such a variety, and above all they looked so delicious that I agonized a lot over what to pick. The cookies can also be bought by the box, and they come in a pretty box, so they're perfect as a gift.

They had scoop cakes for dessert too, with several flavors that looked just as tasty, so I'm planning to try those next time :)

Drinks come in plenty of types too: various coffees, signature lattes, non-coffee lattes, teas and more, so you can pick whatever suits you.
What we ordered at Standard Square and the prices
- Café latte ₩5,700 (decaf +₩500)
- Matcha einspänner (cream-topped matcha latte) ₩6,800
- Salted peanut butter ₩4,700
- Pistachio ganache ₩4,700

The coffees and lattes at Standard Square can be switched to oat milk, soy milk or decaf, so you can enjoy them your way, which I liked. We switched our café latte to decaf, and since I usually love matcha and the matcha einspänner is said to be their signature non-coffee drink, we ordered that too.

The lattes and cookies looked so pretty and the café was so nice that I took lots of photos before eating. The natural light from outside and the lighting inside are lovely too, so it's great for selfies :)

How was the decaf café latte?
When you order coffee at Standard Square, they give you a note on which beans were used, so you understand the coffee you're drinking better and enjoy it even more.

They say the decaf beans are processed with the sugarcane decaf method, which preserves the beans' cell structure as much as possible so you get the coffee's natural aroma and flavor. It tasted really nutty with a touch of sweetness, and with the softness of the milk added, it made a delicious café latte.
Signature non-coffee drink: the matcha einspänner
The matcha einspänner (₩6,800) is Standard Square's signature non-coffee drink: a matcha latte topped with cream and matcha powder. The cream was chewy yet soft, so enjoying it on its own was nice, and when I mixed it into the matcha latte the rich matcha flavor blended in really well. So good.

Are the pistachio ganache and salted peanut butter cookies moist?
And now the cookies I was so, so looking forward to! I chose the pistachio ganache (right) and my husband chose the salted peanut butter (left). They're nice and big, and look so delicious, right?

One bite and wow, so moist, the best! Nothing is sadder than a dry, crumbly cookie, haha. Not at all! They weren't dry; the texture was heavy yet moist, so they go really well with coffee and I think they'd even work as a light meal replacement.
Above all, they taste just like their names, so I got the full flavor of salted peanut butter and pistachio ganache. These are honestly such good handmade cookies that if you're giving cookies as a gift in Songdo, I'd absolutely recommend this place. I'll be visiting an acquaintance in Songdo next time, and I plan to buy a box of cookies from Standard Square to bring :)

I loved resting here in a Songdo dessert café with tasty lattes and cookies in a stylish setting, soaking up the date mood with my husband. If you're looking for a dessert café with great cookies in Songdo, Incheon, I recommend "Standard Square"!
