I was looking for a good place in Bukchon and found Low Five Anguk, which is also well known as a Bukchon date spot. It's so easy to reach that it's perfect for dropping in during a stroll around Bukchon.

Does the Caesar salad go well with pizza?
At Low Five Anguk we ordered a salad, a pepperoni pizza and a potato pizza. The Caesar salad was light yet nutty, and it cut the richness of the pizza, so it tasted even better eaten together.
The crunch of fresh vegetables and the nutty flavor of rich Parmesan stood out. The creamy Caesar dressing coated the greens gently for a salty, deeply savory taste, and the crispy croutons here and there kept the texture lively.

How does the pepperoni pizza at Low Five Anguk taste?
The pepperoni pizza at Low Five Anguk was a classic: salty pepperoni, loads of cheese and chewy dough. It came fresh out of the oven with the cheese stretching temptingly, and with the first bite the salty savoriness and mild spice of the pepperoni filled my mouth.
The rich juices and gentle heat of the pepperoni blended perfectly with the nutty cheese, and the cheese was piled on so generously it stretched, which made it even more satisfying. The tomato sauce was sweet and tangy without being overdone, letting the flavor of the ingredients come through.

The pepperoni, with just the right amount of oil seeping out, was chewy and savory, and met the richly melted mozzarella for even deeper flavor. The tomato sauce naturally brought out the pepperoni's taste and, together with the cheese, made a well-balanced bite.
The dough was crisp outside, moist and chewy inside, so I finished it right to the crust, and the nutty wheat aroma as I chewed made it even better. The combination of salty pepperoni, nutty cheese and chewy dough was perfect, and it was addictive: after one slice my hand kept reaching for another.

What does the potato pizza at Low Five Anguk taste like?
The potato pizza at Low Five Anguk combined potato, bacon, corn and mayonnaise sauce into a flavor almost anyone would enjoy. It really showed off the charm of soft potato.
The big pieces of potato were fluffy yet moist, and eaten with the nutty cheese they melted softly in my mouth. The salty bacon brought out the mildness of the potato, with sweet corn and nutty mayonnaise sauce added on top. The mild and nutty flavors blended so harmoniously that after one slice I naturally reached for the next, and with the chewy dough I never got tired of it and enjoyed it to the end.
Is Low Five Anguk worth recommending for a Bukchon blind date or date?
If you're looking for a restaurant with a good atmosphere in Bukchon, or planning a blind date or date, I'd recommend Low Five Anguk, where you can be happy with both the food and the mood. Both the pizza and the salad scored high, and it's a great spot to enjoy along with a Bukchon outing.
