Today I'm writing about a hair salon near Wangsimni. I visited Salon de L (살롱드엘), a hair salon near Wangsimni Station whose principle is 1:1 responsible service, handling consultation, design, treatment and styling all in one go! Here's my story of getting the Tricyscore clinic there.

Where is Salon de L, and is it easy to find?

Salon de L is at 137 Majang-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, in Tenzhill Mall, 2nd floor, Room 115. It's open daily 10:00–19:00, has parking, and pets are welcome too. Tenzhill Mall is across from the Wongmhalmeoni Bossam flagship!

Tenzhill Mall is so big that everyone finds it quickly. If you use the Gate 2 entrance and head up to the 2nd floor, it's even easier :)

Salon de L is a cozy yet upscale salon in brown tones. They welcomed me in such a comfortable, friendly way that I was in a good mood the moment I walked in :)

I went on a weekday afternoon and there were already lots of customers! I heard it's a popular Tenzhill salon whose reputation grew through regulars of 12+ years.

Dry, frizzy hair: what is the Tricyscore clinic?

I came to Salon de L today for a clinic treatment. It's the Tricyscore clinic, which is meant to improve my dry, frizzy hair!

Before the treatment, Salon de L prepared a drink for me first :) You know that feeling of getting a hair treatment while sipping a coffee at leisure, it's honestly healing, right? Thanks to that I could relax through the whole treatment.

These are the agents used for today's Tricyscore clinic! I was told Tricyscore uses 3 types of PPT (protein/peptide-type ingredients) to help style the hair, bringing out elasticity, softness, volume and so on according to the hair's damage and quality. Across several steps, they use ingredients that help improve the hair overall!

I got it hoping all these good ingredients would improve my rough hair even a little.

How the Tricyscore clinic at Salon de L goes, step by step

Tangles and dryness revealed after shampooing

The Tricyscore clinic started with a shampoo!

And after shampooing, the state of my hair became even clearer.. It was badly tangled, and dry and rough, I thought! Truly a state that needed a clinic!!

Step 1: treatment agent and infrared heat

The Salon de L designer ran the Tricyscore clinic in order, starting from step one. The first agent is a care that fills in heavily damaged areas, I was told! They handled it so meticulously and delicately. After that we did the infrared heat treatment too.

From step 2 to wrapping the cuticle in keratin

After giving the heat treatment plenty of time, the designer went on to the second step. Through these steps, they fill in the heavily damaged areas, lay a film over the hair, and wrap the cuticle in high-molecular keratin, I was told. Taking enough time at each step and handling everything so carefully looked so professional.

Seeing how delicately Salon de L looks after the hair and how sincerely they do the treatment, I understood why they have so many long-time regulars! I really felt my hair condition would improve a bit more through this clinic.

The final step and scalp massage

The treatment ended with the last Tricyscore clinic step and a scalp massage :) As they dried my hair, I could already feel my hair was in much better shape than in the before!

How much did my hair change after the Tricyscore clinic?

After the Tricyscore clinic at Salon de L, my hair was clearly improved even though I didn't do any extra blow-drying. Here's my finished after look :) You can see the improvement, right?

All I did was get the clinic, and I was so happy it turned out this satisfying. Now I get why Salon de L is famous as a Wangsimni salon. If you want a clinic treatment in Wangsimni, I recommend Salon de L!!

Compared with the before, my hair was much better, calmer and softer, and I felt it instantly :D I think that's thanks to how carefully and delicately Salon de L handled everything throughout the treatment. I'm totally satisfied!
