Calling all jjukkumi lovers! I was looking for somewhere in Hanam for a filling lunch or dinner and visited Jigueseo On Jjukkumi Hanam Main Branch. What surprised me even more was the price. They have a ₩13,000 set where jjukkumi is the star alongside pot-cooked rice, so the value was really good.

Jigueseo On Jjukkumi is a place in Hanam where you can enjoy a meal centered on jjukkumi. When you order the perilla oil jjukkumi set meal, it comes with pot-cooked rice and several side dishes, so it looked like a good choice for a family meal or dining with friends. I especially liked that you can have a filling meal without spending too much.

I did not get a separate photo of the parking lot, but there is a large open parking area directly in front of the building. It is on a main road in the Seo Hanam area, so coming by car is essential, but it was easy to use.
The exterior and a comfortable interior for groups

Once inside, the atmosphere was more comfortable and tidy than I expected. The table spacing was perfectly fine for dining, and it was an easygoing space for families or larger groups. Given the nature of jjukkumi dishes, it had a nice atmosphere for coming with several people and sharing a meal.

By the time I finished eating and came out, the sun had set and it was dark. At night, lights come on in the trees, making the area around the restaurant even prettier. The softly lit setting gives it a different feel in the evening.
The ₩13,000 set and receipt-review event

There are various meal options centered on jjukkumi, but the ₩13,000 set was what really caught my eye. You can enjoy several components, including pot-cooked rice, all at once, making it a very satisfying option for the price. Considering restaurant prices these days, being able to have a set meal at this price felt quite nice.

Another great-value point was the Hangang ramen. You could get it free by taking part in the Naver receipt-review event.

Before heading out after the meal, there was also ice cream and coffee available for dessert.
How the perilla oil jjukkumi pot-rice set tasted

There were more side dishes than I expected. Everything from salad and japchae (stir-fried glass noodles) to salted pollock roe, jellyfish salad, and kimchi was neatly prepared and went well with the jjukkumi. Personally, I really loved the black sesame dressing drizzled over the salad.

The miyeokguk (seaweed soup) had a rich, deep broth with a touch of spice, so it was clean-tasting rather than heavy.

I was also very pleased that the spoon and chopsticks came individually wrapped for hygiene.

I ordered the ₩13,000 perilla oil jjukkumi pot-rice set. I liked the price from the start, and when it arrived, I was even happier because it was more than enough for a full meal.

The jjukkumi was well coated in its spicy seasoning and went nicely with rice, while its characteristic springy texture was still there. Rather than being aggressively hot for the sake of it, the seasoning was a flavor that paired well with rice.

The pot-cooked rice arrived freshly made and hot, with fluffy, glossy grains. After serving out the rice, it was nice to pour in warm water and finish with savory nurungji (scorched rice).

Personally, rather than eating the jjukkumi on its own, I mixed it with the accompanying perilla oil and rice. That way, I could enjoy it deliciously until the very end without getting tired of it.

The jjukkumi itself had excellent texture and flavor, but above all, considering the ₩13,000 price, both the selection and taste were satisfying. Eating a proper meal for the low ₩10,000s is not easy now that dining-out costs have risen so much, so I think it is worth putting on your list when looking for good jjukkumi in Hanam.
When you are craving spicy jjukkumi in Hanam

I recommend Jigueseo On Jjukkumi for when you are craving spicy jjukkumi in Hanam. The biggest advantage I found, above all, was the value. If you want a filling meal of delicious jjukkumi with pot-cooked rice, I highly recommend Jigueseo On Jjukkumi as a reasonably priced jjukkumi restaurant in Hanam.
