A cute Western-style restaurant near Hyehwa Station
I went to Hyehwa for a date and found such, such, SUCH a delicious Western-style restaurant,,,, With pasta, omurice, and other easygoing dishes, it is a great place to enjoy a meal without feeling weighed down—and it is so close to Hyehwa Station too.....

It is a two-minute walk from Exit 4 of Hyehwa Station—just go straight and you are there. So easy to find~! Once you see that cute sign on the second floor, you have arrived! Yellow is the main color, which makes the place sooo cute ㅠㅠ

A sweet little space that is great with kids, too
The interior is clean and charming, and they have high chairs, so it is a kid-friendly restaurant. I think it would be so nice to come here with children!

There are little dolls like these all around the restaurant, and the owner’s taste is just too, too cute ㅠ It feels like they have perfectly nailed the kind of vibe women and kids love!

You order after sitting down at your table, so it is very convenient.

What we ordered and the set options
One main dish per person is required. They also have set menus, so you can enjoy the food at a good value. We chose:
- Gochujang butter pasta
- Rubber-duck omurice
- Zero Coke
- Orange juice
They also have an event where you receive an ade drink for writing a Naver review, so I recommend joining in!

The self-service bar is very neatly stocked with paper cups, tissues, water, and more. And just take as many pickles as you will eat~

The character on the notice is so, so cute ㅠㅠ There is also a QR code for Wi-Fi at the self-service bar, so connecting is easy.

The orange juice and Zero Coke came out first~! They were nicely chilled with ice floating in them, perfect for quenching our thirst in the hot weather.

Rubber-duck omurice and gochujang butter pasta
Rubber-duck omurice
Oh my gosh,,,, is this not the cutest? That duck (?) made with sesame seeds and corn is so adorable, and it comes with a rubber duck—and it is a free gift!!!! You can take it home. A cute rubber duck for free, omg ㅜㅜㅜ I tucked mine straight into my bag... hehe

Gochujang butter pasta that is not too rich
This, this is the star. It is clean and spicy without any rich heaviness, so it feels like a Korean-Western fusion moment. As a born-and-raised Korean, I cannot really handle rich food,,, I am not good with cream pasta and things like that, but this is seriously delicious. I think I could eat two plates by myself.
Just stir the gochujang butter on top through the pasta and eat! The meat is sous-vide pork neck, and wow—it is so tender, it practically melts in your mouth!

Complimentary soba maki
The soba maki they gave us as a service! It combines buckwheat soba noodles, vegetables, and Japanese-style rolled egg. The sweet flavor and crisp vegetable texture worked beautifully together. The little egg face stamp was so cute too ㅠㅅㅠ

A Hyehwa date for both the eyes and the palate
Omil Hyehwa Daehangno is not simply a place where the food tastes good—that is not where it ends! It is a place that delights both your eyes and your palate. Every dish looks great and tastes excellent too. If you are thinking about a Hyehwa date, definitely save Omil.
