Where is Gogiyogi Anseong, and what are its hours?

Gogiyogi Anseong is technically in Anseong on the map, but it's really close to Pyeongtaek too! We drove from Pyeongtaek and it took less than 20 minutes.

You can park either along the road next to the tents at the entrance, or in Gogiyogi's dedicated lot. Enter 544-22 Chilgok-ri, Wongok-myeon into your navigation and you'll find a huge parking lot. After parking, just walk up the stairs.

As soon as we arrived, we spotted these big tents and instantly got that excited, away-on-a-trip feeling. We visited on a weekday, but this would be amazing for a weekend outing from Pyeongtaek too.

Eek, even the entrance felt like arriving at a pension. Autumn is approaching so the days are getting noticeably shorter.

It felt so nice to escape the city for a bit of healing time. Tall skies, wide fields — kids, adults, and even dogs were all having a blast.

Gogiyogi is a camping-style restaurant that welcomes dogs. A leash is required, and the store even sells dog treats.

Gogiyogi has that camping vibe where you can enjoy self-barbecue in your own private tent. They also run a water play pool in summer, so it seems like a popular family weekend spot.

There's a great play area for kids too, making it a top pick for a weekend family trip from Pyeongtaek or Anseong. There are also nostalgic games for adults — where I'm from we called it 'squid game' (the old playground version, haha).

How self-BBQ works at Gogiyogi Anseong and what the shop sells

At Gogiyogi Anseong, you check in at the counter, buy what you need at the store, bring it to your tent, and grill it yourself. After eating, you just tidy up simply, as shown in the photos.

The store was spacious and clean. You basically buy the meat plus whatever else you want. Outside food is not allowed (exceptions: cake, fruit, baby food, kimchi). Gogiyogi's store had literally everything, so you could show up empty-handed and still pull off a perfect camping barbecue.

Ice cream

There's a variety of board games too, which would be really fun if you came with friends.

Marshmallows, nostalgic snacks, chips, ramyeon. They even have hetbahn (instant rice) you can microwave.

Ice cups, dakbal (spicy chicken feet), sotteok sotteok (rice cake-sausage skewers), hot dogs, kkochi-odeng-tang (skewered fish cake soup), chueotang (loach soup) and more sides to go with the meat.

Of course, today's real star is the meat. We got the pork belly — Korean pork, 594g for ₩47,000. Besides pork belly, there's also pork neck and other cuts to choose from.

Tip from Jaemdaengppu — there's currently an event on Naver where you get 200g of beef brisket (usamgyeop) free. Shh, don't tell anyone (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ) — it's a steal if you don't miss it. Check Naver Place for details.

We also love grilled mushrooms, so we grabbed a mix of assorted mushrooms too!

The self-service bar was so neatly organized. They give you plenty of green onion shreds, and you grab your own scissors, tongs, sauce bowls and other utensils.

Tent No. 1 at Gogiyogi Anseong: fee and what's inside

We don't have a dog, so we booked Tent No. 1, the non-dog-friendly option. Gogiyogi has a reservation fee (tent usage fee) of ₩5,000 per person, free for preschool kids and dogs. The fee includes charcoal, grill, water, and disposables.

Honestly, it was so pretty ˚₊‧꒰ා ₍ᐢ. ̫.ᐢ₎ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ The private tent inside was decorated so cozily.

✧･ﾟ: ✧･ﾟ: This is literally camping-vibe barbecue itself.. *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ This is exactly why I'd recommend Gogiyogi to anyone looking for Pyeongtaek BBQ. Even Jaem was amazed, like 'wow, a place like this existed?'

Inside the tents at Gogiyogi, there's air conditioning, heating, and proper ventilation, so you can enjoy barbecue comfortably no matter the weather or season. That day it was full-on autumn weather — cool enough that we didn't even turn on the AC.

Grilling on the tent's pot-lid plate instead of the charcoal BBQ zone

Gogiyogi Anseong actually has a charcoal BBQ zone outside! But it was so windy that day that we used the grill inside our tent instead.

Ta-da, look at that meat color. Plus the beef brisket we got from the event..♥ Alright, the meat party begins.

Since the grill is shaped like a concave pot lid, all the oil pools in the center — that's instantly kimchi territory. You all know the drill (dun dun) (҂⌣̀_⌣́)

But seriously, why is Gogiyogi's beef brisket so good? Thick, hearty, high quality — genuinely delicious brisket. We ate so happily. Gogiyogi sells good-quality meat, which makes it even better.

After the happy meat party, we finished up with peaches.

By the time we were done with the barbecue, the sun had set. Even after dark, the lights create a totally different, pretty atmosphere (ﾉ>ω<)ﾉ :｡･:*:･ﾟ'★,｡･:*:･ﾟ'

Gogiyogi also gives you plenty of time to use the space, and since there's a game zone, we stopped by too.

There's so much to enjoy at Gogiyogi beyond the emotional-vibe barbecue. Jaem loved it so much she said she'd recommend it to a friend who's still deciding on a venue for their wedding invitation gathering, haha. Once you visit Gogiyogi, you'll definitely want to come back.

Jumping with excitement — Gogiyogi Anseong was so satisfying we almost didn't want to go home.
