Hi, it's Meokbo! Here's a brunch café I visited while traveling in Cheonan. Bumvecker, a well-known brunch café in Dujeong-dong, Cheonan, is a large café with easy parking and a spacious, comfortable layout that made it great for a date. The sweet potato spoonable pizza on the brunch menu was a highlight — here's my delicious review.

Bumvecker, a famous brunch café in Dujeong-dong, Cheonan, felt spacious even from the outside, and there's a sign proclaiming it a German pretzel specialty shop!!
On a nice day it'd be lovely to sit at the outdoor tables for a date! But it was so hot that day I didn't even consider sitting outside!

The inside of Bumvecker Cheonan Dujeong had plenty of group seating, floor tables, and tons of tables overall. The space was comfortable and spacious enough that I thought it'd be nice to come back with family next time!?

True to its pretzel specialty, Bumvecker Cheonan Dujeong had a wide variety of pretzels on display, and the cookies and butter rice cakes were also impressive.

Even though we'd already had lunch, I couldn't pass up the brunch menu at Bumvecker, a famous brunch café in Dujeong-dong, Cheonan. On a trip, eating and then eating some more is basically the national rule haha. There are lots of low-sugar drinks here too, so it'd be a perfect fit for anyone watching their sugar intake or dieting.

Our whole spread arrived at Bumvecker, a famous brunch café in Dujeong-dong, Cheonan. I thought a pizza would take longer, but it came out faster than expected — such a win!! It's nice that you can eat it warm, and the cheese stretches sooo much!
How does the sweet potato spoonable pizza taste?
The most special thing about Bumvecker Cheonan Dujeong's sweet potato spoonable pizza was that pretzel dough is used as the base. I was completely won over by the thoughtful touch of also serving honey on the side — they told us to eat it however we liked!?
One whole pan was bigger than expected, so it was quite filling. I did think it would've been nice if there were a slightly smaller size option!
My husband raved that the sweet potato spoonable pizza was the best pizza of his life haha. Loaded with sweet potato, cheese, corn kernels, and pretzel dough as the base — that was the special part!
It was mostly sweet, with plenty of savory cheese mixed in, so it landed somewhere in sweet-and-salty territory haha. In between bites, the pretzel added a nutty flavor and seemed to stand in for the soft texture of regular bread!! Also, you don't have to eat it with your hands — you can scoop it up with a fork, which made it easy to eat.
I thought it tasted great just as it was, haha, but my husband kept insisting it was even better dipped generously in honey! Sweet with more sweet is love, right?
Mocha latte and lemon coke at Bumvecker
The mocha latte (6,500 won, decaf +500 won) at Bumvecker Cheonan Dujeong came in the café's own cup, and they hung a bookmark on it for us to use! I'd never seen a place do that before, so it was a fun surprise.
The chocolate flavor was rich, so along with the coffee it mostly came through as a bittersweet taste, and the thick, dense sweetness gave me a proper sugar boost!! If you like sweet drinks, this one's a must-try!
I loved that the lemon coke could be swapped to zero coke, and the combo of lemon syrup and zero coke gave both refreshing tartness and fizzy coolness at once, pairing perfectly with the pizza. Also recommended!
The lemon flavor was strong too, so the tanginess felt doubled, and it was so refreshing I drank it right down.
